Day 1 – Airport Transfer, Tbilisi [Hotel in Tbilisi], Itinerary as Time Allows

The Bridge of Peace - This is a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge made of steel and glass, adorned with numerous LEDs, spanning the Kura River in downtown Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.

Anchiskhati Basilica - The Anchiskhati Basilica of St Mary is the oldest existing church in Tbilisi, Georgia, and is part of the Georgian Orthodox Church.

Mtatsminda Amusement Park - Features include Jungle Park, carousels for all ages, fun and scary rooms, and more.

Metekhi Cathedral - Metekhi is a historic area of Tbilisi, Georgia, situated on a cliff overlooking the Mtkvari River.

Narikala Fortress - [Cable Car to fortress]: Narikala is an ancient fortress overlooking Tbilisi and the Kura River. It comprises two walled sections on a steep hill between the sulphur baths and the botanical gardens of Tbilisi.

Dzveli Tbilisi Sulphur Waterfall - This is the most historic part of the city. According to legend, the sulphur springs attracted King Vakhtang Gorgasali to settle the land and declare it the new capital city in the 5th century AD.

Tbilisi – Zhinvali – Ananuri – Gudauri-Tbilisi

Zhinvali Dam - The day begins with a visit to the Zhinvali water reservoir. Constructed in the 1980s due to Tbilisi’s rapid growth and need for a new water supply, it now offers a beautiful lake where visitors can enjoy stunning views of the water and surrounding colorful forests. [Kayaking]

Aragvi River - Rafting tours are conducted on the Pshavis Aragvi River, offering a moderately challenging tour that is enjoyable for everyone, providing enough action to get splashed and thrilled. [Rafting]

Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - The exploration continues at the famous 17th-century Ananuri Fortress, known for its haunting history. Despite numerous attacks over the centuries, it remains strong and attracts every visitor.

Gudauri - The journey proceeds along the breathtaking military highway of Georgia to Gudauri, where the Friendship Monument can be seen. Here, visitors can also experience the unforgettable thrill of [Paragliding over the Caucasus Mountains].

Tbilisi – Kakheti Tour [Hotel in Tbilisi]

Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino - The first stop is Bodbe Monastery, offering breathtaking views of the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains.

Signagi City Walls - Following Bodbe, the tour visits the charming hilltop city of Sighnaghi (City of Love), home to one of the longest city walls in the world.

Kvareli Lake Resort - Kvareli Lake Resort is a captivating place where one can spend hours on the terrace watching eagles soar over the lake high above the mountains. The silence and tranquility of the mountains are almost palpable here, making it a true place of power, meditation, and peace.

Alaverdi St. George Cathedral - Telavi is the administrative and historical center of the Kakheti region, where visitors can see the monument of King Erekle II, a 9th-century plane tree, and Alaverdi Cathedral, one of Georgia’s most renowned medieval temples.

Tbilisi to Airport

Tbilisi International Airport - Remaining items from Day 1 can be visited if time permits. Check-out from the hotel is at noon, with free time available until the transfer to Tbilisi International Airport, marking the end of the tour.
