Zhinvali Water Reservoir - Located along the Georgian military highway, Jinvali Reservoir is a stunning spot for photography, with its blue waters nestled between three mountain ranges.
Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - Dating back to the XVI-XVIII centuries, Ananuri fortress is located on the Aragvi River’s foreland. It was the seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty from the 13th century. The fortress, a site of many battles, offers breathtaking views perfect for landscape photography, combining the fortress and Jinvali reservoir. It was used until the early 19th century and has been on the tentative list for UNESCO World Heritage Site inclusion since 2007.
Hotel-Restaurant Kakhaberi طريق القوقاز - Enjoy lunch amidst beautiful nature, with delicious homemade traditional dishes, especially Khinkali, the local dumplings. Rafting is available before lunch for an exciting experience.
Gudauri - Weather permitting, try paragliding in Gudauri. Note that paragliding is not included in our services and costs approximately 100 USD.
Russian Georgian Friendship Monument - Optional visit to the Friendship Monument Georgia-Russia, built in 1983 to commemorate the Treaty of Georgievsk’s bicentennial and the friendship between Soviet Georgia and Soviet Russia. Located on the Georgian Military Highway between Gudauri and the Jvari pass, the monument is a large round stone and concrete structure overlooking the Devil’s Valley in the Caucasus Mountains. Gudauri ski resort, on the south-facing plateau of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range, offers excellent conditions for skiing and other activities like horse-riding, mountain biking, hiking, and paragliding.
Stepantsminda - Known for its picturesque location in the Greater Caucasus Mountains, Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) is a hub for trekkers and mountain climbers. Attractions include Mount Kazbegi and the surrounding Kazbegi Nature Reserve and Gergeti Trinity Church. In Kazbegi village, a special car (5-7$ per person) is rented to reach the mountain top to visit Gergeti Trinity Church.
Gergeti Trinity Church - Known as Holy Trinity Church near Gergeti village, it sits on the right bank of the Chkheri River under Mount Kazbegi at 2170 meters elevation. Built in the 14th century, it is the only cross-cupola church in Khevi province. During times of danger, relics from Mtskheta, including Saint Nino’s Cross, were safeguarded here. Although religious services were banned during the Soviet era, the church remained a popular tourist spot. Now active within the Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Church, it offers panoramic valley views. Its isolation in the mountainous area makes it a top tourist attraction in Georgia, with impressive views of Mount Kazbegi, standing at 5047 meters.
Rooms Hotel Kazbegi - After the tour, staying in Kazbegi is recommended. Drop-off is available at Rooms Hotel Kazbegi or any other hotel in Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) or Gudauri. Arrival at Rooms Hotel is around 6:00 PM.
