• Rose Revolution Square - Meet at 8:30 am in front of the Radisson Blu Iveria. (Rose Revolution Square, 50m from Rustaveli metro station). Look for our tour leader with a red flag. For groups of more than four, hotel pickup is available to take you to the Caucasus mountains.

• Jinvali Water Reservoir - Located along the Georgian military highway, Jinvali Reservoir is a stunning spot for photography, with its blue waters nestled between three mountain ranges.

• Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - Dating back to the 16th-18th centuries, Ananuri fortress is located on the Aragvi River’s foreland. It served as a castle and the seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty from the 13th century. The fortress, a site of many battles, offers breathtaking views for landscape photography, combining the fortress and Jinvali reservoir. It was in use until the early 19th century and has been on UNESCO’s tentative list since 2007.

• Hotel-Restaurant Kakhaberi طريق القوقاز - Enjoy rafting before lunch for an exhilarating experience. Dine amidst beautiful nature, savoring delicious homemade traditional dishes, especially Khinkali, the local dumplings.

• Panorama Gudauri - Weather permitting, try paragliding in Gudauri. Note that paragliding is not included in our services and costs approximately 100 USD.

• Russian Georgian Friendship Monument - Optionally visit the Friendship Monument Georgia-Russia, built in 1983 to commemorate the Treaty of Georgievsk’s bicentennial and the friendship between Soviet Georgia and Soviet Russia. Located on the Georgian Military Highway, it overlooks the Devil’s Valley in the Caucasus Mountains. Gudauri ski resort, on the south-facing plateau of the Greater Caucasus Mountain Range, offers excellent conditions for skiing and other activities like horse-riding, mountain biking, hiking, and paragliding.

• Stepantsminda - Known for its picturesque setting in the Greater Caucasus Mountains, Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) is a hub for trekkers and climbers. Attractions include Mount Kazbegi, alpine meadows, forests, and the Gergeti Trinity Church. In Kazbegi village, a special car (5-7$ per person) takes visitors to the mountain top to visit the church.

• Gergeti Trinity Church - Near Gergeti village, this 14th-century church is the only cross-cupola church in Khevi province. It served as a refuge for precious relics during times of danger. Despite the Soviet ban on religious services, it remained a popular tourist spot. Now active, the church offers panoramic valley views and is a key Georgian attraction. The view of Mount Kazbegi, standing at 5047 m, is particularly impressive.

• Rooms Hotel Kazbegi - After the tour, consider staying at Rooms Hotel Kazbegi, where we arrive around 7:00 PM. Alternatively, return to Tbilisi the same day.

The tour takes you through several stunning locations along the route. It can confidently be said that this is the highlight of any trip to Georgia. This ride can be challenging even for our skilled and experienced drivers during winter. We have some advice for winter travel: firstly, prepare for freezing temperatures by bringing warm clothing, and ensure you get a good night’s sleep beforehand. Occasionally, roads may be blocked, preventing travel beyond Gudauri, but in such cases, there is more time to enjoy the Gudauri ski resort, where you can try various activities like paragliding, ATV biking, horse riding, and more.
