Snowy Gudauri - Hey Katie (our guide) and team! This is for you. Gudauri is like a hidden gem 🤑! The views are insane - snow-capped mountains, lush green valleys, and crazy winding roads 🚗. If you're into hiking, skiing, or just wanna chill in the mountains, it's a must-visit 😎. The people are super friendly and hospitable, and the food? 🔥 Georgian cuisine is a game-changer! Khinkali, khachapuri, and …….- you won't leave disappointed 🍴. Jinvali reservoir and Ananuri were the top ups. The restaurant on the way was fabulous. Katie absolutely killed it as our trip guide in Gudauri 🥳! Her knowledge of the place was insane, and she made sure we experienced the best of it 💯. From snow activities tips to local eats, Katie's got you covered 😋. Would totally recommend her to anyone heading to Gudauri 👍. 5 stars isn't enough! Would I go back? ABSOLUTELY 😁! Gudauri, you're on my revisit list

Great views, great food, great guides - The amount packed into the Caucasus mountains day trip is immense and definitely value for money. Misho did a great job of making the day enjoyable for everyone and our driver kept us safe as we travelled huge distances in challenging weather conditions. This trip allowed us to explore different regions and landscapes that we otherwise would’ve missed out on, and the restaurant stop was the best way to enjoy delicious Georgian food. Highly recommend.

This is another Georgian... - This is another Georgian trip which well combines nature with history. At Ananuri Castle we had the chance to dress up in traditional outdoor Georgian clothing (sheepskin coat and papakha- wool hat) for an extra, yet affordable price. The fortified castle is well-preserved and offers a beautiful view. The journey to and from Gudauri was an adventure in itself due to the very dense fog which made it impossible to see more than 2 metres ahead. This is where we were amazed by the driver’s skills on safely driving on such a weather. Because of this, we sadly could not see much from the panorama Gudauri. From the bit that was however visible, we noticed the beautiful autumn colours of the Georgian mountains. The weather fortunately improved as we were travelling to the Kazbegi region. The Gergeti Trinity Church offered lovely views of the Kazbegi Mountain. We then stayed for about one hour at Rooms Kazbegi, which offered us a chance to take plenty of photos and relax for a bit.

Formal complaint regarding the tour - friend and I booked a tour advertised as a 12-hour trip, expected to end at 8:00 PM, but it ended much earlier. Although we visited some places, Kazbegi was not included, with the guide stating it was “closed,” which was never mentioned in advance. In Gudauri, we were supposed to visit the ski resort and have snow bike activities, but this did not happen. Instead, the final stop was a honey tasting, which felt like a promotional stop rather than part of the tour. It gave the impression that the guide prioritized commission-based stops over the actual itinerary. Overall, the service was unprofessional, with little guidance and most of the time spent in the van. I have done this same tour before with another provider, and it was significantly better. Based on this experience, I believe the tour was misleading and below expected standards.
