- Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - The next stop is the Ananuri Fortress, which dates back to the early feudal era and served as a defensive outpost, blocking the road from the Darial Gorge. The perimeter walls, towers, temples, and even floors are well-preserved. The square tower is a favorite spot for tourists to take photos. Climbing to the top offers breathtaking views of the landscape.
- Gudauri Ski Resort - The stunning mountain landscapes along the Georgian Military Road are visible near the Gudauri ski resort. The Friendship of Nations arch serves as an excellent observation platform, offering beautiful panoramic views of the surroundings.
- Gergeti Trinity Church - The journey continues to the village of Kazbegi, where the remarkable Gergeti Trinity Church stands atop the mountain amidst the clouds on snow-covered rocks. Located at an altitude of 2,170 meters at the foot of Kazbegi, along the Georgian Military Highway, in the village of Gergeti, it is the most elevated church in Georgia.
- Gveleti Waterfall - A short trek leads to the two-tiered Gveleti Waterfall, a stunning natural monument in the Darial Gorge. The trek takes about 30 minutes.
- Pasanauri - In Pasanauri, enjoy the scenic confluence of the white and black Aragvi rivers. Upon request, visit local taverns to savor delicious khinkali, as this region is believed to be the birthplace of this traditional Georgian dish.
