Great tour with ZURA - I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide Zura was excellent, fun, informative, and full of life! The day was made great because of his great vibes! 10/10! I have 2 suggestions to improve the tour. 1. Skip the expensive restaurants and take us to a village where we can choose where we want to eat, or since there are plenty of snack foods along the way at almost all of our stops, skip the lunch stop and encourage snacking between locations. The restaurant we went to was almost 3X the price of other places I have visited in town. 2. I was very concerned that the driver was too busy playing with the radio and trying to sync his phone to playing music in the van, and he did this while driving along very high mountain roads where overtaking at high speeds is common. This was dangerous and made me feel very uneasy. I sat up front so I clearly witnessed him paying more attention to his phone than the road on more than one occasion. The music was for the most part relaxing and nice, but my life is more important than my ears.

Snow-tastic trip. - Totally brilliant trip involving so many places, weathers, road conditions and things to see, i cant recommend it highly enough. This is the kind of trip that is going to be so different, depending on when you go during the year, but in March...there is no snow in Tbilisi...and then you go north. woop woop. Its white-tastic. Tbh i wasnt expecting quite so much of the white stuff, and so wasnt wearing suitable footwear, but still had such a great time. Great views, mountain scenery, monasteries, shopping, lunch, interesting other people on the trip. Really great experience...which is such a bargain for the price.

Great guide, terrible driver. 12 hour tour - Omar the guide was friendly, warm, and knowledgeable. The tour covered everything the other like for like tours cover, but at half the price. It is a 12 hour tour, not 5. The driver was terrible and very rude. He wouldn't let people have covered coffee or snacks on the bus, and his poor driving got us needlessly stuck in a tunnel on our return adding 45mins extra onto our day, which also meant I lost my theatre tickets that night. Keep the guide, sack the driver!

** A Deeply Disappointing Experience After Years of Loyalty** - I've been using this platform to book tours since 2017 and have always had positive experiences—until now. Unfortunately, this was the first truly disappointing tour, and the issues stemmed entirely from the local partners involved. Here’s why: - Language Barrier and Last-Minute Changes As Indian travelers, we specifically booked an English-language tour. However, on the day of the tour, we were informed—without prior notice—that the English group was canceled due to low turnout. We were placed in a Russian-speaking group instead. While the guide, Mammotha, made some effort to explain things to us in English, the majority of the commentary was in Russian, leaving us feeling excluded and disconnected from the experience. - Rude Communication and Lack of Flexibility We had planned to stay overnight in Gudauri and requested a pickup the next day, since we had paid for a round-trip ticket. When we asked the operator, Erinam, she responded rudely, insisting we would need to book an entirely new package because her tours were fully booked. This was especially frustrating given that our original English tour was canceled. A polite explanation would have gone a long way, but instead we were met with hostility. - Hidden Costs and Exploitative Practices It became clear that the tour operators have arrangements with certain restaurants and roadside vendors. The lunch stop featured overpriced, mediocre food. Worse, we were taken to a honey vendor who charged us 100 GEL for a jar that should cost no more than 50 GEL. He claimed it was “pure mountain honey” and unavailable elsewhere. We trusted the tour company and felt cheated. Later, we discovered similar honey at the Friendship Monument stalls for much less. When we raised this with Mammotha, she defended the vendor, citing “quality”—a weak justification given the price discrepancy. We ended up paying 240 GEL for just three 250g jars. This experience left us feeling exploited and disillusioned—not just with the tour, but with the overall impression of Georgian hospitality we had previously admired. It’s unfortunate that a single poorly managed tour can undo years of goodwill. Extremely disappointing & demand refund for the package from Viator

Worst of the worst - I booked this aug 6 tour on aug 4 evening. It was confirmed and I was ready to go. Suddenly the operator canceled my tour on aug 5 midnight, leaving me in a terrible situation where I have no time to book from a different operator. There is no valid excuse for this terrible behavior. I was outraged and I will complain to trip advisor. The operator tried to make up excuses and explanations but they were lying.
