Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - Ananuri Fortress is a 16th–17th century medieval castle complex situated on the shores of the Zhinvali Reservoir, along the Georgian Military Road.

Once the residence of the influential Aragvi Dukes, the fortress played a crucial defensive role in safeguarding the trade route between the Caucasus and Tbilisi.

Pasanauri - In Pasanauri, visitors can observe a unique natural phenomenon — the confluence of the Black Aragvi and White Aragvi rivers.

Although they merge into a single river, their waters often retain visibly distinct colors for some distance. This occurs because the rivers originate from different mountain sources and carry varying minerals and sediments.

Russian Georgian Friendship Monument - The Gudauri Friendship Monument, also known as the Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument, is a large circular structure located along the Georgian Military Road near the Gudauri ski resort.

Constructed in 1983, the monument was built to commemorate the friendship treaty between Georgia and Russia. Its vibrant mosaic murals depict scenes from Georgian and Russian history.

Situated at approximately 2,000 meters above sea level, the monument offers stunning panoramic views over the deep mountain valleys of the Caucasus. It is one of the most popular photo stops on the way to Kazbegi, combining dramatic scenery with striking Soviet-era architecture.

Stepantsminda - Stepantsminda, also known as Kazbegi, is a small mountain town located in northeastern Georgia along the Georgian Military Road, near the Russian border.

Situated at around 1,740 meters above sea level, it serves as the main gateway to the high Caucasus Mountains and is renowned for its stunning views of Mount Kazbek (5,047 m) — one of the highest peaks in Georgia.
