  On the banks of the Aragvi, you will encounter the only Georgian fortress that has survived in its original form. As you explore the Ananuri defense complex, you will feel transported to the Middle Ages and discover the illustrious history of the Aragva eristavi (leaders of the people). Special attention will be given to the 17th-century Assumption Church, whose facade is adorned with intriguing bas-reliefs, each element of the decor holding a hidden meaning.

• Pasanauri - Witness the merging of two rivers (White and Black Aragvi), stunning views, and a unique mineral spring that resembles a golden river. (Stop for 15 minutes)
