• Jinvali Water Reservoir - En route to the mountains, we’ll pause for a photo opportunity at Jinvali Lake, which serves as a water reservoir. When the sun is out, the water displays a stunning shade of blue.
• Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - Ananuri Castle is a must-see on the journey to Kazbegi. Situated on the Aragvi River, it is one of Georgia’s best-preserved fortresses.
• Aragvi River - A remarkable spot where the white Aragvi and black Aragvi rivers meet, yet their waters remain distinct, creating a striking black-and-white stream.
• Gudauri - Gudauri is a popular destination for relaxation, skiing with loved ones, enjoying fresh air, and more. At an elevation of 2,196 meters, it offers breathtaking views and the opportunity for paragliding with a professional pilot.
• Russian Georgian Friendship Monument - The Russia-Georgia Friendship Monument, also known as the Treaty of Georgievsk Monument, was erected in 1983 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Treaty of Georgievsk and the enduring friendship between Soviet Georgia and Soviet Russia. The mosaic depicts rich history, and the surrounding panoramic views are stunning, especially for mountain enthusiasts!
• Stepantsminda - This valley village is dominated by the 14th-century Gergeti Trinity Church and its nearby bell tower, both set against the backdrop of the glacier-capped Mount Kazbek.
• Trusso Valley - The picturesque Truso Valley, the source of the Tergi River, extends west from the Georgian Military Highway, 17 km south of Stepantsminda. It features ancient towers, deserted Ossetian villages, and unique mineral phenomena, including the Abano mineral lake, which bubbles with carbon dioxide.
• Gergeti Trinity Church - We understand this is your main destination. Unlike other companies, we do not charge extra for this visit. We hope for good weather so you can enjoy the view.
• Tbilisi - After the tour, we return to Tbilisi. However, if you wish to stay in Stepantsminda (Kazbegi), we are happy to accommodate you—just let us know in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.
