Vardzia - Cave Vardzia
The ancient Vardzia complex is more than just rock-carved chambers. This cave fortress is a monastery constructed near Tbilisi in the 12th century. The remarkable city features 13 levels and over 500 rooms, including churches, chapels, living quarters, storerooms, baths, dining halls, treasuries, and libraries. The rooms extend 50 meters deep and rise to a height of eight floors, with preserved secret passages connecting the chambers, as well as remnants of the water supply and irrigation system. During the tour, explore every corner of Vardzia and discover the purpose behind the rock city’s construction and its historical functions. Trip to kazbegi, Keti made it memorable!! - I had such a great time on this tour — Keti was absolutely fantastic! She’s friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience really fun and comfortable. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and she shared so many interesting stories and local insights that made the tour special.
She went out of her way to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves and even helped with great local recommendations afterward. If you’re visiting, definitely ask for Keti — she’ll make your trip unforgettable!

It was such an enjoyable experience wher - We had a wonderful trip today to Borjomi, Rabati Castle, and the Vardzia Caves. It was such an enjoyable experience where we learned a lot about the history of Georgia, thanks to our amazing guide Katy, who was incredibly kind and knowledgeable.
At the beginning of the trip,he guide told us that she would consider us as her children and herself as the mother of the day — I thought she was joking, but by the end of the journey, I truly felt it was true!
I would like to sincerely thank Katy and the company for their warm hospitality and excellent service. I will definitely book with them again and highly recommend them to everyone! 🌟

A must do trip when In Georgia - Vardzia!! - We did a day trip to Rabati Castle, Vardzia and Borjomi. I would definitely recommend this trip which covers a great doze about history of Georgia!
Vardzia involves climbing steep steps, so make sure to be well dressed and wear good walking shoes.
Coming to our tour guide, the great King George 😉, he took great efforts in explaining the history and current affairs of Georgia.
We had an absolutely amazing time!
I will have to agree that without our driver David’s smooth driving skills and George’s amazing taste in music, the journey wouldn’t have been this good! 😍

Vardzia: highly recommended - Vardzia is one of a kind place, highly recommended for a visit. The route from Tbilisi to Vardzia is also stunning.

Amazing - It was really amazing experience
Nature, river Mountain Cave everything in Georgia is amazing
And really there is no words describe our guide his name (manoka) I wish it is the right name . He was so helpful , friendly and take care of us .

Well organized. Your tour... - Well organized. Your tour guide was well informed and communicated well - would’ve have been better if they separated the groups based language - the constant switch between English and Russian meant some things were missed in the moment.
Lots more driving than sightseeing but it’s understandable given the distance from Tbilisi.
