Wonderful Armenian Experience! - Experiencing medieval Armenia on this tour felt truly magical—almost as if we had stepped straight onto a movie set. The historic sites were incredibly atmospheric, with ancient architecture and dramatic landscapes that brought Armenia’s rich past vividly to life. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen and offered something unique, making the journey both visually stunning and culturally enriching. One of the highlights was lunch, which featured delicious, authentic Armenian cuisine enjoyed alongside a serene, breathtaking river view. It was the perfect setting to relax, take in the surroundings, and appreciate the flavors of the region. The combination of great food and such a peaceful natural backdrop made the experience especially memorable. Another major advantage of this tour was its convenient proximity to Tbilisi, Georgia. Everything was relatively close, which made the itinerary incredibly efficient and a real time saver without feeling rushed or overwhelming. Finally, our tour guide, George, truly elevated the experience. He was sweet, charming, and delightful, and his warmth, knowledge, and enthusiasm added so much personality to the tour. His storytelling and attentiveness made the day feel both informative and enjoyable. Overall, this was a beautifully paced, memorable experience that combined history, culture, scenery, and hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the magic of medieval Armenia in a thoughtful and enjoyable way.

Autumn dream in Armenia - We were a pleasantly small group (5 people + guide). Temu took a lot of time for us to explain everything and even bought typical Georgian lemonades on the drive from a supermarket that we can try. We saw a lot and had a lovely time. October is the ideal season to make the trip. I can recommend the tour!

A very good tour with a very good guide - Temo was a very good guide - a safe driver, and the tour schedule was well organised. We saw many interesting sights, from 11th century monasteries to the more tortuous recent industrial history. Temo was informative, helping us with shopping and money changing tips and was very patient with our non stop photo taking! The lunch with the local family was lovely and plentiful. I feel that the whole group had a great time. We met as strangers and left as friends.

Thanks Temo! - Temo was our guide for this tour and he made sure we were comfortable and fully engaged through out the tour. Temo can virtually talk or debate on any topic and he is a history geek and has intrinsic knowledge on monastery and soviet era. We also had lunch with the Armenian family which was sumptuous. The tour ended bit late as couldn’t make on time in the morning but Temo was very patient and never once we felt that he wanted the cut the tour short. I am sure you will always remember Temo as he is not someone whom you can forget easily!

One day trip to Armenia - Lovely one-day trip to Armenia. Our host, Timo, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Worth taking some Armenian Dram if you want to buy a drink or keepsake. We took equivalent of about $10 which was fine - we got it from an ATM on the border but it didn't work for everyone (there is a currency exchange but the queue was quite long). Border crossings can be long, more on the Georgian exit/entry than the Armenian side. The food with the family was lovely and plentiful.

Wonderful day trip from Tbilisi to Armenia with a safe and knowledgeable driver. All was as advertised. Ask for Temo! - We had Temo as our driver and guide from Georgia to Armenia for the day. Temo was prompt, curious, a safe driver and extremely knowledgeable of the complicated history of Georgia and Armenia. He was entertaining and his English was very good. Each part of the trip was as advertised - from the wonderful family lunch to the beautiful monasteries - highly recommend this day trip from Tbilisi.
