Built between 1995 and 2004, it ranks as the third-tallest Eastern Orthodox cathedral globally and is among the largest religious structures worldwide by total area. Sameba combines traditional styles prevalent in Georgian church architecture throughout history, with some Byzantine influences.
Old Town (Altstadt) Tbilisi - Old Tbilisi (Georgian: ძველი თბილისი, dzveli t’bilisi) was an administrative district (raioni) in Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital, from 2007 to 2013. Although the term “Old Tbilisi” has long been used to describe a historical part of the city, it became a distinct administrative entity in 2007, incorporating several historical neighborhoods previously part of the Mtatsminda-Krtsanisi, Isani-Samgori, and Didube-Chughureti districts. The district was dissolved in 2013, with its areas distributed among other divisions of the capital.

Sairme - Resort “Sairme” is situated in the mountainous zone of a subtropical belt. Administratively part of the Baghdati municipality, it is located 950 meters above sea level. It is the largest resort in Europe and the South Caucasus. The green area covers 60 hectares, and it is the only resort where four different eutherapeutic and one thermal spring emerge, offering treatment for various ailments. Following the rehabilitation project of the new Sairme Resort, the complex now includes 3 hotels with 342 rooms, accommodating nearly 1,000 guests simultaneously. The landscape of Sairme has also been modernized, with significant work done for recreation and the arrangement of facilities.

Sataplia Cave and Nature Reserve - Sataplia Strict Nature Reserve (Georgian: სათაფლია სახელმწიფო ნაკრძალი) is located 10 km from the town of Kutaisi in the Imereti region of Georgia. The visitor center is situated in the village of Lower Alvani, Akhmeta Municipality, on the slopes of the extinct volcano, Mount Sataplia. The name Sataplia translates to “honey place” (In Georgian, თაფლი, tapli means honey), as bees once inhabited small holes and caves, and honey was harvested by locals.

Borjomi Park-Rabati Castle
Borjomi - Borjomi (Georgian: ბორჯომი) is a resort town in south-central Georgia, 160 km from Tbilisi, with a population of 10,546. It is one of the districts of the Samtskhe-Javakheti region, located in the northwestern part of the region in the scenic Borjomi Gorge on the eastern edge of the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. The town is renowned for its mineral water industry, which is Georgia’s top export, the Romanov summer palace in Likani, and the World Wide Fund for Nature-site Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. Borjomi mineral water is especially well-known in countries that were part of the former Soviet Union; the bottling of mineral water is a major source of income for the area. Due to the reputed healing properties of the area’s mineral springs, it is a popular destination for those with health issues. Borjomi also hosts the largest ecologically-themed amusement park in the Caucasus.
Rabati Castle - Rabati Castle (Georgian: რაბათის ციხე) is a medieval fortress constructed in the 9th century under the name “Lomisa Castle” in the city of Akhaltsikhe in southern Georgia, recently undergoing extensive reconstruction. It is one of the main attractions of the Samtskhe-Javakheti region, along with Vardzia.
Vardzia-Khertvisi-Sapara
Vardzia - Vardzia (Georgian: ვარძია) is a cave monastery site in southern Georgia, carved from the slopes of the Erusheti Mountain on the left bank of the Kura River, thirty kilometers from Aspindza. The main construction period was the latter half of the twelfth century. The caves extend along the cliff for about five hundred meters and up to nineteen tiers. The Church of the Dormition, dating to the 1180s during the golden age of Tamar and Rustaveli, features an important series of wall paintings. The site was largely abandoned after the Ottoman conquest in the sixteenth century. Now part of a state heritage reserve, the extended area of Vardzia-Khertvisi has been proposed for future inclusion on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Khertvisi Fortress - Khertvisi Fortress (Georgian: ხერთვისის ციხე) is one of the oldest fortresses in Georgia and was operational throughout the Georgian feudal period. It is located in Southern Georgia, in the Meskheti region. The fortress was initially built in the 2nd century BC. The church was constructed in 985, and the current walls were erected in 1354. According to legend, Khertvisi was destroyed by Alexander the Great.

Green (Mtsvane) Monastery - The Chitakhevi Church of Saint George (Georgian: ჩითახევის წმინდა გიორგის ეკლესია, translit.: chitakhevis ts’minda giorgis ek’lesia) is a medieval church in Georgia, located in the south-central Borjomi valley in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region. It is commonly known as Mtsvane Monastery (მწვანე მონასტერი, mts’vane monast’eri), meaning the Green Monastery. Abandoned for over two hundred years, the monastery was restored for Christian use in 2003. It is a popular site for tourism and pilgrimage. The monastic church and bell tower are listed as Immovable Cultural Monuments of National Significance of Georgia.
