- Freedom Monument - Arrive at Georgia’s main square, Liberty Square, situated in the heart of Tbilisi.
- Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theater - In 2010, Rezo Gabriadze constructed a unique clock tower next to the marionette theater in Tbilisi’s old town. Every hour, an angel emerges with a small hammer to ring the bell. Inside the tower is a small puppet theater, and twice daily, at 12:00 and 19:00, you can enjoy a show called “The Circle of Life.” Rezo adorned the tower with hundreds of tiles he designed himself, making it an iconic architectural attraction in Tbilisi. It is often referred to as the Tower with a Clock or the Tower with the Angel.
- The Bridge of Peace - The Bridge of Peace is a must-see attraction in Tbilisi. This pedestrian glass and steel bridge, with its bow-shaped design, spans the Mtkvari (Kura) River in Georgia’s capital. Officially opened in May 2010, the bridge was transported to Georgia from Italy in 200 unassembled parts. It stretches 156 meters and features over 10,000 LED bulbs that illuminate 90 minutes before sunset each day.
- Rike Park - Rike Park is the newest recreational area in Tbilisi, located on the left bank of the Kura (Mtkvari) River. It has quickly become a favorite spot for both locals and international visitors, especially families, during the summer. The park is easy to find, with its main entrance right by the beautiful pedestrian Bridge of Peace. It offers various entertainment facilities, including singing and dancing fountains, artificial climbing walls, a children’s maze, mega-chess boards, footpaths, and peaceful corners.
- Monument of King Vakhtang Gorgasali - Vakhtang I Gorgasali, from the Chosroid dynasty, was a king of Iberia, known locally as Kartli, during the late 5th and early 6th centuries. Dating Vakhtang’s reign is challenging. Allied with the Byzantine Empire, he led his people in a prolonged struggle against Sasanian Iranian dominance, which ultimately resulted in his defeat and the weakening of the Iberian kingdom. Tradition credits him with reorganizing the Georgian Orthodox Church and founding Tbilisi, Georgia’s modern capital. Historian Ivane Javakhishvili dates Vakhtang’s rule to approximately 449–502.
- Metekhi Cathedral - The Virgin Mary Metekhi Church is situated on the left bank of the Mtkvari River, atop a cliff plateau. The first church on this site was likely built by Vakhtang Gorgasali, symbolically resembling the church on the Virgin Mary’s tomb in Jerusalem’s Gethsemane Garden. According to legend, the former Catholicos Kirion transferred Saint Shushanik to this church in the 7th century.
- Abanotubani - “Abanotubani” is the name of the district in Tbilisi’s Old Town. It features an entire street (Abanos Kucha) of public bathhouses utilizing the sulfurous waters from the area’s numerous hot springs.

- Leghvtakhevi Waterfall - This spot is favored by both Georgians and foreigners as a place to relax when the weather is hot.
- Narikala Fortress - Narikala Fortress is Tbilisi’s most renowned landmark. No visitor leaves Tbilisi without exploring this impressive fortress. The history of Tbilisi is palpable here, even though the walls are not in perfect condition. During the day, Narikala Fortress captures attention from all over Tbilisi. - Kartlis Deda - Kartlis Deda (Mother of a Georgian), often mistakenly called Kartlis Deda, is a monument in Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital, and has become a city symbol. The statue was erected atop Sololaki Hill in 1958, the year Tbilisi celebrated its 1500th anniversary. Renowned Georgian sculptor Elguja Amashukeli designed the twenty-meter aluminum figure of a woman in traditional Georgian attire. She embodies the Georgian national character: in her left hand, she holds a bowl of wine to welcome friends, and in her right hand, a sword for enemies.
- Old Town (Altstadt) Tbilisi - Admire the narrow streets and wooden balconies of the Old Town.
- Shardeni Street - Shardeni Street is one of Tbilisi’s most popular and beautiful streets. This pedestrian street is so famous that no visitor to Georgia leaves without experiencing Shardeni Street.
