Shenako - This village is renowned for its unique and impressive architecture, featuring house-towers. These residences were designed to safeguard the family’s property, with the lower floors used for livestock and the upper floors for living quarters and defense against enemy attacks. By the late 19th century, the defensive function of these peel houses had diminished, and they began to be converted into new-style accommodations with balconies. Like other villages in Tusheti, Shenako is also on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list.
Diklo - Diklo village is part of historical Tusheti and is a paradise for nature enthusiasts. It is located in the Alazani river valley of Tusheti, nestled between the Greater Caucasus and Tusheti mountain ranges.

According to the 2014 population census, 37 people reside permanently in Omalo.
Omalo is notable for its unique ethno-cultural heritage, particularly its historical sections, which exemplify medieval Tusheti architecture.
Keselo Fortress is a highlight of Omalo, built in 1230 during the Mongol invasion. It later served as a defense against raids from Northern Caucasian people. The fortress remained mostly in ruins until 2003 when it was partially restored.
The medieval residential houses of Omalo are examples of Caucasian mountain architecture, with most surviving structures dating from the 17th to 19th centuries.

Alaverdi St. George Cathedral - The monastery complex and Alaverdi Cathedral are located in the village of Alaverdi. The Alaverdi Complex is a 6th-century Georgian Orthodox monastery. Alaverdi is the tallest cathedral in Georgia, reaching up to 50 meters. It dominates the surrounding landscape in a fertile river valley against the backdrop of the Caucasus Mountains. The cathedral is a cross with three apses inscribed in a rectangle. The interior is extremely imposing, while the exterior is devoid of embellishments, featuring monumental blind arcades and niches for decoration, lending the entire structure an air of monumentality and solemnity.
