Start of the Adventure
Tefe - Day 1
At 9 am, guests are greeted at Tefe Airport upon arrival and transported to the port of Tefe city. From there, the group embarks on a speedboat to explore the dark waters of Tefe Lake. The thrilling boat ride leads to the confluence where the dark waters of Tefe Lake meet the Solimoes River. The journey continues along the Solimoes River, then onto the Japura River, navigating various tributaries of the Amazon River until reaching Amana Lake and the UBIM community base, where lunch will be provided. The trip takes approximately 5 hours, depending on the water level. At 3:00 pm, the group departs on a local motorized boat to the first overnight camp. During the journey to the camp, there is an opportunity to observe various regional birds.

Tefe - Day 10
Breakfast is served, and following breakfast, the group embarks on a morning paddling excursion with the locals before returning for lunch. After packing up, they enjoy lunch and at 2:00 pm begin the journey back to the City of Tefe, concluding with a drop-off at the hotel in town.

There is a convenient daily flight from Manaus to Tefe airport, lasting just 50 minutes with Azul Airlines. Alternatively, you can opt for the fare boat from Manaus, which provides a scenic journey along the Amazon River, taking 2 days and 2 nights to reach the City of Tefe, where our Team will be ready to commence the Survival trip.
