An extremely fulfilling experience for all! - Excellent tour presentation and full of local history, traditions, culture, religious background and lifestyles. Fantastic ability to communicate with our 9, 7 and 5 year old Grandchildren. We have used Mr Gede during our prior visit and he was as informative then as he was today.

We specifically requested Gede upon our return to Bali - What a fun filled day! Gede was very flexible with our schedule, allowing us time to shop and tour however long we wanted. We had other drivers when we visited before, but we specifically asked for Gede, who is very articulate and informative in comparison. He also takes the BEST pictures!

Ubud Day Trip - We had the absolute pleasure of spending a day in Ubud with Gede and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Bali. He was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. We visited rice terraces, waterfalls, monkey forest and Segara Winhu Coffee Plantation. He shared the rich history, cultural insights, and local stories that made every stop come alive. He tailored the tour to fit our interests perfectly and was so thoughtful throughout – whether it was finding the best photo spots, avoiding crowds, or introducing us to delicious local snacks we wouldn’t have found on our own. We had lunch at D Alas Warung where our teenage daughters enjoyed a swing ride - which was a highlight for them! If you’re visiting Ubud and want a genuine, memorable experience with someone who truly loves and knows Bali, we couldn’t recommend Gede Putra more. Thank you for an incredible day!

Ubud Tour. - Had the most amazing time and experience on this tour. Yogi did a great job with explaining and showing us around. He was also our photographer and took great pics of us. We would definitely reccomend him for any tour. We actually booked a second tour with him to the gates of heaven.

Best tour of Bali - This tour was amazing! My cousin and I had the most amazing day. Our guide was Yogi and he was great. He took amazing photos and even sent me a video that he took of my cousin and I after. We got into all the places quick and easily. It was an unforgettable experience and highly recommend doing this if you’re going to Bali. Also request Yogi, he was very knowledgeable and is the best guide! We told him that we like mangosteen and took us to get some and we even got to try other fruits.

Fantastic tours of Ubud and surrounding area - excellent guides, would highly recommend! - Gede and Made were incredible tour guides for our family while we were in Bali. We spent half a day doing the Ubud tour. We started with the monkey forest, where Gede knew the grounds and how to interact with the monkeys so well, it was like he worked there. Then he took us to the local market and palace where we had ample time to browse and explore. Once we were done, we just had to text him and he came to pick us up at a "fly by" pickup zone. He then took us to a wonderful lunch spot over looking a rice paddy. We got to sit in one of the very nice huts (private), perched out in the water. Everything was so smooth and enjoyable. The next day, we had a very full day, with our guide Made. We started at the Tegenungan Waterfall, where he allowed us to explore the site at our own pace. He wisely advised us not to swim (the water is more downstream and prone to making some visitors sick). Better to be safe than sorry - we saw lots of other visitors without guides go right into the water. From there, we went to a rice terrace which was so beautiful. Again, he let us take our time as our kids ended up doing a zip line adventure. Afterwards, we was able to find us a coffee plantation (small one) to see how coffee is grown locally, including the famous luwak coffee. After that, we went for lunch. The restaurant is tucked away - you would not be able to find it. But once there, it is beautifully built with walking paths in a forest-like feel. It is built up on a mountainside as there are a couple of massive swings that guests can pay to swing on and get super nice photos on. That was all included in our package. The meal had 3 courses and decent local selection of foods. Finally, we went to Tirta Empul Water Temple, and Made was able to give us all the history and context. On top of fantastic tours, both Gede and Made are so nice and quick to accomodate our family's needs. They can change schedules on the fly and given their connections and expertise, can navigate sites and vendors to make things as simple and convenient as possible. Finally, one thing we appreciate is that they can help build custom experiences, and also are honest about what our family might like and not like - they helped us avoid some things on our itinerary after they got to know our preferences, as well as knowing how much time we had (what's worth the drive vs. not), and we were thrilled with the ideas they gave us. Overall, highly recommend GAD tours, and Gede and Mede as guides!
