Telouet Kasbah - The first cultural stop is Kasbah Telouet, reached after a two-hour drive through the Tizi N’Tichka pass at the heights of the Atlas Mountains. The landscape changes dramatically here, providing opportunities for photos and refreshments at stunning viewpoints before arriving at the Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou (fortress), which is a must-see.
Driving southeast to the Sahara Desert in Merzouga
Tinghir - After breakfast, the journey begins around 08:30 towards the Sahara Desert in Merzouga. The drive passes through Berber villages, including Kalaat Magouna Valley of Roses and Boumalen Dades, with several stops along the way in Toudgha Gorge Valley. After lunch in Tinjdad Town, the journey continues south to the desert. A short detour is taken to view the canal at Al (Kitara) before heading to Erfoud, known for its fossils. Arriving in the late afternoon before sunset, camp is set up in the Merzouga desert. A camel ride will take you there, and the night is spent in comfortable tents.
Returning to Marrakech City
Agdz - After breakfast, the return journey to Marrakech is via Nekab, Tazarin, and Agadez, passing through the Daraa Valley and part of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. In Agdaz, there is a stop for lunch in a special location among the palm groves or for a relaxing refreshment. The journey then continues to Marrakech, marking the end of the trip.
