Two Great Days on the West & the East Coasts! - My husband and I recently visited Curacao for the first time, and chose Curacao Activities for two tours of the island – the UTV Expedition West Coast and the Half Day Off-Road & Snorkel Safari to the East side. Both were really fun days and we were able to see so much of the island that we otherwise wouldn’t have been able to access. The day on the UTV was one of the best tours we’ve experienced in the Caribbean! We loved being able to zip around the island and go off-road on some tricky trails. Our guides were Floww and Quinn, who made the tour even better with their colorful personalities. They shared info about the island’s history, geology, plants and animals when we stopped to walk a short trail to a cave, where we spotted mountain goats, blue and brown whiptail lizards and bats. My favorite part of the UTV West Coast tour was a visit to Daaibooi Beach. The water was perfect – calm for easy swimming and the most gorgeous shades of blue! On the far right side of the beach (when facing the water) some people were feeding sea turtles so I was able to snorkel near them which was incredible! We were the first guests picked up on the Off-Road tour so we began the day by picking up the additional guests which was great for us because we were able to see more of the island, including some of the colorful buildings in Willemstad. Our first stop was a botanical garden where our guide showed us many local plants and explained their therapeutic purposes which was really interesting. We bought some locally made ice cream in the gift shop, including one that was prune flavor. Prune ice cream seemed unusual to us but it was really delicious! We were then able to see the waves crash into the rugged coast of Koraal Tabak which was beautiful and such a stark contrast to the calm beaches on the opposite side of the island. Nearby we hiked to visit a cave which had interesting rock formations and bats. This hike was somewhat physically challenging so if you have limited mobility you may find it too difficult. Everyone in our group was fine but it wouldn’t be suitable for everyone! The day ended with swimming at Director’s Bay. Bring water shoes with you as you’ll walk over many rocks to access the water. This was the perfect way to refresh and get a break from the heat! Our guides for the Offroad Snorkel Safari were Zeric and Germaine, and they were amazing! I seemed to have an allergic reaction to one of the plants at the botanical garden (I should have known better!) and they were so kind as to stop at a local pharmacy for me to get some medicated eye drops. Curacao Activities even messaged me the next day to see if I was feeling better! We can’t wait to visit this gorgeous, diverse and safe island once again and will definitely book our tours with Curacao Activities. They were so easy to work with and all the staff was prompt and so friendly. Thank you Curacao Activities for two awesome days!

super arranged and surprising - fantastic experience, definitely worth it. the guidance that day from the organization was also perfect. took the time for you, wanted to tell a bit about the environments it were surprising to ask if they should take pictures of our family. also the shuttle service was perfectly arranged from our resort. Sunday Aug 3 in the morning we participated ,unfortunately we forgot the names of the men ,otherwise we would have put them in the spotlight.

Recommended! - Had a great experience! Because you go off-road you will get to places you would never otherwise go. DE guides also made it an extra fun day for us. DE ride was adventurous and highly recommended!
