The story of the game is set in the distant future in the DR Congo. By solving the various riddles and assignments, the visitor must try to free Mamdou and Arike out of the hands of an ancient demon. Visitors can collect hints throughout their AfricaMuseumQuest. When one collects all the hints, they can solve the final question of the AfricaMuseumQuest and free Mamadou and Arike.
