- Mae Wang Elephant Camp - Discover the marvels of an ethical elephant sanctuary, where you can learn about these majestic animals and observe them in their natural habitat. Take the chance to feed and interact with the elephants, and gently touch them if they approach you on their own. It’s crucial to understand that the sanctuary strictly forbids riding or forcing elephants into any activities that contradict their natural behaviors or instincts.
- Mae Wang Waterfall - Hike to Mae Wang Waterfall. Unwind and swim at this single-tier waterfall, which stands 20 meters tall and 10 meters wide, accompanied by a year-round stream. This waterfall is the main water source for Maenamwang. The surrounding area features a dry dipterocarp forest, a mix of deciduous trees, dry dipterocarp, and hill evergreen forest. Along the trail, there are natural learning spots, and a basin beneath the waterfall offers a perfect spot for swimming and relaxation.
- Mae Wang - After lunch, enjoy a relaxing bamboo rafting experience. Float on a locally made bamboo raft along the gentle currents of the Mae Wang Waterfall.

A perfect day - The elephant sanctuary was a good way to intermingle with the elephants. One got to feed them, bathe with them in the mud or the water and just pet them. The bamboo rafting was an experience in itself with some rapids in areas. The waterfall was a good place to cool off but not the highlight of the day.

A fun local experience, - I had a wonderful time! It was really fun rafting down the river, seeing elephants, fauna and flora along the way. But the real thrill was the elephants! As is with most animals, their stomach rules the roost, and these guys had the routine down pat knowing there were multiple treats involved at each stop. You could tell they were loved and well treated. The waterfall dulled, compared to the rest of the trip. Food was very local...enjoyed it...our hostess was wonderful and very sweet. (I think her name was "Eet" I think). And the rest of our group was fun, too.

A great elephant experience - This was a great day out - small group, really efficient and the food was good also. The elephant sanctuary was actually really nice, definitely the best elephant experience i have ever had in Asia. It is a family business and they have been working with those elephants for generations, really happy animals and really friendly, no ropes or chains or sticks just really good communication with the carer and animal.
The raft ride is surprisingly long and fun, but make sure you wear bug spray! Lots of midgies on the river.
There is a little coffee shop and a lady cooking fried banana at the lunch stop, make sure to try!

Great overall tour would recommend! - Great overall tour. Started the morning with bamboo rafting which was so peaceful and passed lots of elephants in the river! The hike to the waterfall was short, was able to jump into and swim in waterfall. Walked to the elephant sanctuary where we had a good lunch! The elephants by far were the best part so great to be able to feed, walk and bath the elephants and be so close! Te was a great guide with lots of knowledge!! Limbo was another guide who took really great photos for memories!

Dirty, wet, hot, but LOTS OF FUN!!!! - The order in which all the experiences happen may vary. For us, we started withe bamboo rafting, then the waterfall, ate lunch, and ended with the elephant sanctuary. They provide water, so you will be plenty hydrated. Our guide was friendly and informative and spoke decent English. The elephants were friendly, but just so you know, you would do well to bring an extra set of dry clothes, bathing suits, and a waterproof camera or a water pouch for your cell phone. Doing a mud bath and bathing the elephants is fun but you will be wading and touching mud mixed with their poop. You can definitely smell it. The lunch was acceptable (pad thai), but nothing special. Definitely worth doing this activity if you're in Chiang Mai.

Must do! - Tony was an amazing guide. This was the most memorable experience in Thailand so far! The elephants were so cute. The bamboo rafting was so serene and we could see elephants as we went down the raft. The waterfall was stunning with hidden statues behind the waterfall cliff.

Ok experience - Overall a good experience however very chaotic organisation with transport which delayed getting to the activities. The guide was too busy with driving so we gained no information on the first stops only when asking questions about elephants. The tour should have a driver so the guide can focus on guest experience and sharing information.
