They will discover how caretakers prepare nutritious food and herbal supplements, and have the opportunity to hand-feed the elephants in a safe and respectful manner. Throughout the visit, the guide will discuss elephant behavior, conservation challenges, and how the sanctuary promotes animal welfare.
The experience concludes with time to relax, capture memorable photos, and enjoy light refreshments before returning to the hotel.

Incredible! - What an incredible experience! Might be challenging for anyone with mobility issues as there was a steep hill to climb and some uneven terrain (but certainly not a long walk), and younger children might be intimidated by the being so close to the elephants. For us though (youngest was 12), this was such a special experience to prepare some food, to feed the elephants and be able to see them so close. The guides were generous in taking photos and making sure we had a good time. Thank you Mei for a wonderful time!

Life changing experience with Elephants - Excellent value for money, and what an experience up close and personal. Staff and very knowledgeable and friendly. Great transport to and from experience to hotel. Just the right amount of time to spend with the elephants, and the group size was not oversized, so you get lots of time with hands on. Highly recommend.

Gentle Elephant Sanctuary - The experience was wonderful and intimate. It was a small group of people with our tour guide and the elephants are beautiful and well taken care of. I like that they are free and not having to work anymore. Just relax. I do recommend that people be comfortable with walking especially up a very steep hill as it can be a bit much if you have foot/ knee pain. My sister needed assistance getting up the hill and they were very gracious. We both enjoyed it immensely. Especially touching them and giving them food. I highly recommend this tour. Not too long. Just enough time to connect to the animals.

A perfect hour with elephants - An amazing time spent with elephants who had come to the sanctuary after neglect. They are now free to roam and look very happy to be there. We were able to walk with them, pat and feed them.

Amazing experience - Amazing experience. We spent an hour learning about the elephants, feeding them and walking with them. The people who look after the elephants clearly understand them and treat them well. The Thai tour guide lady was lovely and incredibly knowledgeable about the elephants. Great experience which I’d highly recommend.

Do it! - Worth the money! It was really hot and lots of uphill walking but definitely worth it for the experience. Very good guide and the pick up service was excellent

Communication troubles but good tour overall - The hands on experience was truly unforgettable. We were able to feed and interact with 5 elephants with great photo opportunities. Sadly, the tour was not very informative about elephants and their behavior. Beware— when you book a tour for a specific time, pick up maybe as much as an hour earlier. Consider contacting your guide for specifics. We were not notified and were quite surprised when the driver arrived at 9:05 AM for our 10 AM tour. We were told we needed to be in the lobby in 5 minutes or the tour would be cancelled. No one was helpful. However once we arrived to the sanctuary we were very happy we came.
