8:00 : Departure from the hotel in Pu Luong

8:30 : Begin an 8 km trek (around 3 hours) into the core of Pu Luong Nature Reserve, where you can discover the area’s breathtaking trails, suitable for all skill levels. Traverse small paths that weave through lush rice terraces to reach secluded rural villages inhabited by the Black Thai minority group, offering a unique glimpse into their everyday life. During the journey, you’ll have the chance to explore Kho Muong local Cave, the largest untouched cave in Pu Luong, and marvel at its natural splendor.

12:00 : Enjoy a local lunch to recharge after the trek.

Walk to visit Eo Ken village (Bản Eo Kén) located in Thanh Son commune, Ba Thuoc district, Thanh Hoa province. Eo Ken village is accessible only by footpaths, as there are no car roads, and motorcycles find it challenging. Eo Ken is also situated on the edge of Pu Luong National Park.

  15:00 : As you explore the natural wonders of the region, you’ll also have the opportunity to see the giant water wheels that are integral to the area’s traditional farming methods. The water wheels of Pu Luong are both picturesque and functional, typically made from bamboo and wood. They utilize the energy of flowing water from the streams and rivers that traverse the region.

19:00: After a day filled with adventure and discovery, return to the lodge for dinner and spend the night in a private room in the stunning Pu Luong.
