During the journey, travelers will experience the rustic charm and agricultural scenery of Southern India. After approximately three hours, they will arrive in Madurai. The visit begins at the magnificent, thousand-pillared Meenakshi Amman Temple, dedicated to Parvathi, the wife of Lord Shiva. The Gopurams (pyramidal gateway towers) are adorned with a vibrant array of mythical figures, animals, and deities.
After exploring the Meenakshi Amman Temple, guests will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. (Lunch included).
- Koodal Azhagar Temple - The tour continues to the splendid Koodal Alagar Temple, a remarkable example of seventeenth-century architecture. This temple is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu.
- Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal - Next, visitors will explore Thirumalai Nayak Mahal, which once served as the palace of the renowned Nayaka dynasty.
- Gandhi Memorial Museum - The final stop is the Gandhi Museum, established to commemorate the leader of Indian Independence, Mahatma Gandhi, following his assassination. (Museum Closed on Every Sunday)
