Theth - Theth National Park This remarkable mountain village boasts the most breathtaking scenery in Albania. To reach Thethi, one must drive through Thore Pass, a high mountain pass situated at an elevation of 1,685 meters above sea level in the Albanian Alps. Upon arrival in Thethi village, guests will head to the guest house where lunch will be served. After lunch, visitors will explore the Tower of Thethi and the Church. Dinner will feature local cuisine and a glass of raki, perhaps even two or three.

Blue Eye of Theth - Blue Eye of Theth Following breakfast, the journey begins to Grunasi waterfall, one of the most remarkable natural wonders in the Albanian Alps. Reaching Grunasi waterfall requires a one-hour walk. The next stop is the Blue Eye, located in Kaprre, one of the most picturesque villages in the Alps. To access the Blue Eye, one must traverse the rare beauty of Grunas Canyon of Theth. The walk to the Blue Eye takes approximately two hours.

Shkoder - It’s time to head to Shkodra. In Shkodra, there will be a brief visit and lunch near the lake. Shkodra, the traditional hub of the Gheg cultural region, is one of Europe’s oldest cities and arguably the most charming urban center in Albania. The ancient Rozafa Fortress offers stunning views over Lake Shkodra, while the pastel-colored buildings in the Old Town exude a distinct Italian charm. After visiting Shkodra, it’s time to return to Tirana.

Thethi is a picturesque village that has transformed into a tourist hotspot and a top destination for mountaineering in Albania. You will have the chance to admire the stunning attractions of Thethi, such as the waterfall, canyon, blue eye, and stone groves. Prepare for some walking to get close to the waterfall and canyon. Additionally, we will VISIT THE CHURCH, a renowned landmark in Theth that is a must-see due to its breathtaking backdrop. Theth is quite small, so you will inevitably come across this famous church. Another highlight is VISITING THE BLOOD FEUD TOWER (LOCK-IN). If you’re unfamiliar with the notorious Albanian blood feuds, they date back to the 15th century with the introduction of the Kanun law among northern Albanian tribes and other Balkan regions. There is much to discover and learn about this intriguing history.
