- Imerovigli - Since Byzantine times, Imerovigli has been one of Santorini’s most striking villages, located at the highest point of the caldera. The early settlement of Skaros is believed to have been established in 1207 by the Venetian James Varotsi, who received Santorini after the Crusaders conquered Constantinople in 1204. The modern village stands majestically over a stunning volcano, approximately 300 meters above sea level, about 3 km northwest of Fira on the road to Oia. Besides the paved road, a path connects the village to Santorini’s capital, offering endless views of the unique volcanic landscape.
- Oia - Oia is renowned globally for its breathtaking sunsets and cave dwellings that extend over Ammoudi and Armeni to the Perivola district. Recently, hotels, restaurants, cafes, and shops have emerged in these buildings. It is a popular destination throughout the day and especially at sunset.
- Megalochori - Traditional Village - Megalochori is a village rich in vineyards, located on Santorini’s southwestern side. Its area extends to the Caldera in the West and traditional residential development in the East. Archaeologists have discovered items here dating back to the first Cycladic period.
- Kamari Beach - Kamari village in Santorini is situated along the shoreline, on one of the most beautiful beaches on the east coast. It is 9 kilometers from Fira and is positioned between the airport and the mountain of Meat. It is one of Santorini’s largest villages, with around 1300 residents, and the beach is considered by many to be the island’s most popular. This is one of the most “modern” villages, as significant reconstruction began after the 1956 earthquake, when many residents of Episkopi-Gonia relocated here.
