Situated within the East Fort in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala, Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This temple is a fusion of Kerala and Dravidian architectural styles and is believed to be the richest temple in the world.

The history of Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple dates back to the 8th century. It is one of the 108 sacred Vishnu temples or Divya Desams in India. Divya Desams are the most revered abodes of Lord Vishnu, mentioned in the works of the Tamil Azhvars (saints). The temple’s presiding deity is Lord Vishnu, reclining on Anantha, the hooded Serpent.

• Kuthiramalika Palace - A total of 122 smiling wooden horses greet visitors at ‘Kuthiramalika’, meaning “palace of horses”. Officially known as Kuthiramalika Palace Museum or Puthenmalika Palace Museum, it is a pristine two-story palace near the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram. Constructed by Swathi Thirunal Balarama Varma, the Maharaja of the Kingdom of Travancore during British India, it transports visitors back to the 1840s when it was first built.

This palace is a fine example of the Kerala school of architecture, crafted from teakwood, rosewood, marble, and granite. The museum showcases idols and sculptures made from white marble, Kathakali figures, Belgian mirrors, and paintings.

• For tourist who specify Trivandrum bus stand or Trivandrum railway station as their pickup point, Our guide will be waiting/meeting you near the main entrance of the railway station/bus stand with a sign with the lead traveler’s name.
