Renowned for its mural paintings and stone carvings, it is one of the 108 sacred Vishnu shrines in India. The main deity is Lord Vishnu, depicted reclining on Anantha, the serpent.

• Shri Chitra Art Gallery - Established in 1935, the Sree Chitra Art Gallery is located in Thiruvananthapuram, India, near the northern side of the Napier Museum. It was inaugurated by Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma.

• Napier Museum - Located in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram city, the Napier Museum and the Natural History Museum are situated within the Museum compound, adjacent to the Zoological Park. Constructed in the 19th century, the museum features a natural air-conditioning system and houses numerous historical artifacts, including bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot, and ivory carvings. Visitors are particularly captivated by the Japanese shadow-play leather used to illustrate the epics of the Mahabharata and Ramayana. • Attukal Bhagavathy Temple - The Attukal Bhagavathy Temple, a Hindu religious shrine in Attukal, Kerala, India, is dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali, who is depicted riding ‘vethala’. Bhadrakali, a form of Mahakali, is celebrated for defeating the demon king Daruka and is believed to have emerged from the third eye of Lord Shiva.
