Halong Bay Cruises- Starlight - Overall hospitality was amazing, so also the itinerary. The food menu was limited but taste was amazing. The only thing that was missing was a disc or casino, that could have made it more amazing

Fantastic - It has been a great experience. From the beginning they have been very attentive to us. We were picked up at the hotel in Hanoi and taken directly to the cruise ship. The cruise is very clean with lots of food. Very cool excursions. I recommend it 💯.

Perfect! - It was really a great experience even if at first the weather wasn't great we ended up having the heat and the sun! The rooms and activities were top notch, our guide Sun was super smiley and adorable and so was the whole crew! We were with our parents (6 in total) they loved it! (The red wine was very good ;)!

Great Trip! - Really enjoyed our Halong bay trip. Particularly the kayaking and swimming in such an amazing area. It was very well organised and the staff were all lovely. The food was delicious and fine for a non meat eater. Drinks are of course not included in the fee but were usual western prices. It would be nice to have some kind of itinerary written out for customers. For example Tai chi was at 5.45am and breakfast at 6am. We weren’t quick enough to make it to the cave trip after breakfast so missed it. Had we known the times of things we could have made the trip or not got up for breakfast. The trip is pretty exhausting/a lot of travelling but it isn’t a trip you’d want to miss.

Japanese language tours are not recommended - I experienced a cruise for two days and one night. Various tour companies recruit and pick them up from hotels in Hanoi and take them to a boat. If you can understand English in Katakato, I would not recommend a Japanese tour. It's just too expensive. It's more fun to tour in English with people from different countries.

Not as expected - The nature is beautiful and the boat and rooms are beautiful but....
The program is not equal to the program listed on TripAdvisor.
Getting up isn't at 7:00. It's at 6:00. That meant for us that we skipped the visit to the cave and breakfast.
We had no need for animation but it was more or less forced in a super childish way.
Too bad that in the evening the boats are together and the beautiful bay is reduced to a music temple.

Don't do it - This was the worst trip ever. What could and should have been amazing was just shocking.
It started when we purchased a 5 Star luxury cruise and were shown beautiful photos of the boat we would be on, just to arrive and be put on a budget old boat that was NOT 5 Star at all. Then talking to other passengers they had the exact same thing done to them.
The Bay is beautiful but there are SO MANY boats out there that it is literally congested. People and boats everywhere. The tour guide told us that between 3000 and 10,000 people a day go on a cruise. It was an absolute nightmare. It was all about getting more people on boats. Will Never Ever do it again. The cruise was supposed to be two days one night, however we darted at noon and was back in Halong by 10 am the next day. Having said that we just wanted off that bloody boat.
