Great - Popeye was very helpful and speaks great English. The cruise was great fun with lots of activities and the crew on board were very helpful too with great service. Would highly reccomend.

Tour guide Popeye - The tour was very varied with many activities such as kayaking, a cave tour and a visit to an oyster farm. The food was very good and great portions. The tour guide Popeye was knowledgeable, interested and very friendly.

Ha Long Bay Tour - Really a great tour with Popeye and his crew! The tour is well organized and you have a great time on the ship. Especially the food is very generous and sufficient and you experience some cool things in the Bay!

Robbed onboard - I went on the fantasea cruise here in april and had a very bad experience. We booked the 2 days, 1 night and had a rather normal first day. Though on the second day, me, my girlfriend and 2 other passengers on board, discovered, that while we were away on the activities included in the experience, our cash from our wallets in our rooms had been stolen. Both our wallets were in our room, locked away with a key that we had on us and our wallets were tucked away in bags. Despite this, someone from the crew, stole at least 4 million dong from our wallets. We confronted the crew about this and demanded to see camera footage from the timestamps where we were not on the boat, which they refused to show, due to "lack of knowledge about the camera settings" and then an hour and thirty minutes later, they said "that the data was missing". They refused to take any accountability and did nothing to help the situation. They even told us multiple times, that we had lost the money and multiple of the crew were even seen laughing and grinning during the entirety of the situation. We were after 2 hours taken off the boat and we would speak to police about it, though the police officer at the dock wouldn't even speak to us, rather only spoke to the crew. We were taken back to Hanoi, so they could "investigate" the situation. Two days later, we were contacted from their office, that we could come down to their office and have 4 million dong reimbursed. When we entered the office, we were told multiple times, that onboard the ship, it is our own responsibility to keep track of belongings, and any lost, is our own fault. This is despite us never being told about this rule, never being told about any other sort of safe keeping of our stuff and being told by our guide multiple times, to leave all belongings in our rooms and onboard the ship. I would not recommend booking this at all. Actitivies were lackluster and rushed, cooking class was just rolling a spring roll, we were rushed out of our rooms at 9 am, to stay on the boat and do nothing until 12 o'clock. Along with them stealing money from our wallets locked in our rooms, the overall experience was really bad and for the price, not worth it at all.
