Wonderfully memorable guide! - Alysia’s personal touch and easy-going manner were magnetic and put us immediately at ease! She was upfront about wanting to make this fun for us. She made an effort to get to know us, and also shared a little of her story. Her passion for learning about and protecting the environment is evident. She has a deep respect for how we can journey with nature, rather than attempting to control it, and her choice of words reflect that approach. She's very informed and knowledgeable. The tour of Sequoia NP was made more pleasant as she did all the driving up the VERY windy roads and kept us entertained and distracted with stories and facts. I appreciated her sense of humor and authenticity. She had no problem cracking jokes and laughing at herself. And she gave us options along the way -- as the rest of the group went to look at Hospital Rock, she encouraged me to go down to the river. Alysia also made sure to create an immersive experience -- she led us into a huge log and encouraged us to sit in silence and imagine hibernating there. And when the fog rolled in, she gently redirected the humanly selfish perspective by saying, “I'm sort of sorry, but also glad you’re getting to see this because the trees are loving this fog right now.”

A Fun Day In The Park - Paul was our tour guide and he was the best! He made our day the most informative and enjoyable day! It was like a friend driving us on the tour and he didn’t mind us asking questions. We got to see a lot of the park with exquisite views and historical landmarks. Everyone should do this at least once!

The best way to experience the park - Wonderful experience in a luxury SUV, we were the only two booked for the day so we lucked out with a private tour. Paul, a native from the area and decades experience at the park, was a delight. We had the best day.

Tour in the great snow - Paul, our guide, was amazing. Due to the snowfall caused by the winter storm, the road to Sequoia National Park was closed, so they changed the destination to Kings Canyon, where we had opened, in light of the schedule restrictions. They gave us as much guidance as they could in the bad weather that day. Silent snow sequoias are fantastic, and it's hard to get the experience of walking with snowshoes on, mostly reserved. Lunchbox sandwiches were also delicious in the car. Paul's guide, based on 30 years of experience, was a great learning experience both on the road and there.

More than just a tour — a deeper Sequoia experience - Wonderful Sequoia experience with Sequoia Sightseeing Tours Our guide, Paul, was knowledgeable, engaging, and a pleasure to spend the day with. As a local with deep family ties to the area, he shared insights and stories that gave us a deeper appreciation of the Sequoias and the surrounding landscape — seeing well-known sites through a far more meaningful lens than we would have on our own. Paul was highly experienced, very in tune with the environment, and attentive to the needs of his guests, creating a relaxed and thoughtful experience throughout the day. The lunch was lovely, and overall it felt like a truly special and personal way to experience the park. Communication from Sequoia Sightseeing Tours in the lead-up to the tour was excellent. Highly recommended.
