Tigre Delta - Very knowledgeable tour guide and interesting areas explored. Did not expect such a large boat with many customers. We were unable to hear and understand the entire English explanation of the areas due to the noise level. Also, there was only one working bano on the boat.

Experiences - The ride was optimal, the shuttle service was good and the boat too. The place itself is highly recommended to know. What was bad is the communication with the agency: they told us that they were about to get us up just 5 minutes in advance, without warning, when we had met at 9 o’clock the walk began and 8.20 were already going to look. Also, the visit to the art museum is just to take a photo, since you can not enter, thinking that you could for the cost of the ride. For Uruguayans $2,500 almost without any extra service. Cheers.

Nice time out - This was a fun day out. We were picked up at our hotel and transported to the cruise dock. The cruise itself was relaxing and enjoyable, but sometimes hard to hear the narration. We opted for inclusion of a snack, which was really good... I had empanadas. We then returned to our hotel.

A reasonable way to go see Tigre. - The pick up process was not clear. Our hotel was on the list of options on the registration website, but only after I requested confirmation did the company inform me I would need to arrange to be at a different hotel designated as a pickup site. We got our own ride to the hotel , but when the tour leader arrived, she made no effort to announce the departure for the trip. We only discovered that the pickup van had arrived by following a group that had also congregated in the lobby. The boat tour of the Tigre waterways was the highlight.

A wonderful guide, but a terrible tour. - I wish I had a more positive review to share because the tour guide was wonderful - friendly and knowledgeable - but the tour itself was grim. After a miscommunication with the tour agency about pickup time (I was told 9:00 via email and the guide was told 9:30) and a 30 minute bus ride to Tigre, we boarded a boat to travel down the river. There was really so little to see or appreciate from that vantage point. We then went to Puerto Frutas for a stop over - it was beyond tacky and vulgar. Just a tourist trap with absolutely nothing interesting to recommend it. Finally we went to the Art Museum which I had hoped would be the highlight of the trip, but it was CLOSED (as it usually is apparently). That was it! Again, the tour guide was delightful, but the tour itself was a disappointment. I would avoid this one!

They never picked us up - We bought this tour on Tripdavisor. It said they would pick us up at our hotel. They emailed tickets the booking was confirmed and the address of the hotel was correct. It said the tour started at 9am. We were outside our hotel at 830 and waited there until 10am. We were never picked up so we never did the tour. Looked like a fun tour if you get to go.

Takes on wrong tour - We ended up on a city sight seeing tour rather than this one. My name was on the guide's list so I didn't question whether it was the right tour until the first stop. Very disappointing
