• Tihany - Lake Balaton is the most beautiful region in Hungary, outside Budapest. It is Hungary’s version of Provance or Tuscany. We make a short visit to the most beautiful village in the country with century-old whitewashed houses. Then we go swimming or bathing in the lake. We can eat at the beach, or go to a restaurant before or after the beach activities. The driving time is about 90 minutes. We arrive at the village after crossing the lake with a ferry (together with the car). Please bring a bathing suit. Beach slippers are useful but not necessary. We can provide towels if you don’t bring them.

Lake Balaton is considered the most stunning area in Hungary outside of Budapest. It is a very safe, freshwater lake. Visitors will explore the finest part of the lake and enjoy the water at the beach. Travel will be in an air-conditioned car. A private guide, with 10 years of experience at the lake, will provide all the necessary information and ensure a wonderful experience at Lake Balaton. The tour typically lasts between 6 and 8 hours.
