During the approximately 5 km walk, participants will encounter 4 main waterfalls and over 10 smaller waterfalls ranging from 5 to 18 meters in height, along with hanging bridges, birds, and an optional zip line bike experience. After completing the 5 km hike, the journey continues to point #4. From there, an additional 3 km remains to return to the reception, which can be traversed either by horseback riding or in a 4x4 vehicle.

Incredible Experience - Juan Carlo was an amazing guide! He taught us so much about the flora and fauna near the waterfalls and the surrounding cloud forest. He knew the spots for the best pictures as well!

Great hike, great guide - We loved our hike through the cloud forest. Jean Carlo was a great guide with information about many different tree, shrubs, flowering plants, birds and the cloud forest. The hike was about three miles through all terrains and the hanging bridges were so much fun and the waterfalls were spectacular. We finished the day with a delicious lunch in the main building. We highly recommend this hike and Jean Carlo as your guide.

Education with a side of hiking. - Jean Carlo was a total pro. He was very patient with our family who varied in experience with hiking. He provided great photo opportunities and pointed out many things of interest. We were in awe of the jungle and his knowledge.

I would say it’s light to... - This is a light to moderate hiking tour. Our guide, Steven Rojas, was excellent! He was very knowledgeable and easy going. The scenery is beautiful and it was great to have a great lunch waiting for us afterwards. We highly recommend it!

World class scenery - Jean Carlo took good care of us and the waterfalls and scenery were beautiful. It was our best tour in 4 days in Monteverde. It was muddy and tough on our 71 year old knees, but we made it.
