Marrakech - Tinghir

The private 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga begins early in the morning. Depart from Marrakech around 7:30 AM, heading to Ait Ben Haddou via the Tizi Ntichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains, with several stops along the way. Explore the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a filming location for numerous Hollywood films. Proceed to Ouarzazate and Kasbah Taourirte before enjoying lunch. In the afternoon, travel to Tinghir through the Valley of the Roses, arriving at your hotel in Tinghir for dinner and an overnight stay.

Tinghir – Merzouga

Rissani - After breakfast at the hotel in Tinghir, the journey continues along the road of 1001 Kasbah to the Oasis of Tinghir, where a detour leads to a minor road along the river to explore the canyons. Enjoy some leisure time to appreciate the vast cliffs, followed by lunch at a local café (at your own expense). In the early afternoon, proceed to Rissani, renowned for its date market and as a starting point for ancient trading caravans crossing the Sahara Desert to Timbuktu.

Merzouga - After a brief stop, continue to Merzouga through a rocky desert landscape. Upon reaching the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes, meet the camel caravan and ride through the stunning, color-changing sand dunes with the sunset as a backdrop. Arrive at the Sahara Desert camp, situated in the middle of nowhere just before nightfall. Take time to admire the sand dunes and surrounding scenery, then prepare for a Moroccan dinner served under the stars by a campfire. Late at night, enjoy Berber music with local hosts playing drums.

Merzouga – Marrakech

Ouarzazate - After an early breakfast and a camel ride back to the main road, meet the driver and return to Ouarzazate.

Atlas Mountains - After some leisure time for lunch, continue in the afternoon to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains.

Marrakech - The private 3-day desert tour concludes in Marrakech around 7:00 PM.
