The ancient city of Apollonia is among the most renowned and significant classical cities in the country. Following the visit to Apollonia, the journey continues to Divjake-Karavasta National Park. The Karavasta Lagoon (Albanian: Laguna e Karavastasë) is the largest lagoon in Albania and one of the largest in the Mediterranean Sea. This park is listed among the Ramsar wetlands of international importance and is part of the Divjake-Karavasta National Park. The Divjaka-Karavasta National Park is the largest non-coastal complex in Albania.
