This journey takes us to a city that’s a hub of Albanian civic life. The age-old town is decorated with buildings of subtle hues, the citadel with a view of the lake, and the renowned Mesi bridge constructed in the 1800s to link the Albanian highlands to the metropolis. Our adventure begins with pick-up from the hotel before 8:00 am, followed by a 2-hour ride towards Shkodra. As we traverse through rustic villages and scenic countryside, we reach close to the northernmost border point alongside Montenegro.
