• Skanderbeg Square - The tour begins with a visit to a unique breakfast spot known as a “Mengjezore,” where guests can savor “Pace,” a traditional, hearty, and spicy soup made from cow head or bone marrow. This restaurant, located in the “Bicycle Market,” a quintessential local neighborhood, has been preserving the “Breakfast Restaurant” tradition and serving Pace since 2004.
• Pazari i Ri - After a revitalizing breakfast, the tour proceeds to the “New Bazaar,” where visitors will be introduced to a variety of typical Albanian fruits, vegetables, and souvenirs. The New Bazaar area is one of the most intriguing in Tirana. A brief stop at a local pastry shop, which has been serving the same Merengue Cake recipe since 1998, offers a taste of nostalgia for the owner, reminiscent of joyful childhood days.
• Blloku - As the tour moves from the old part of the city towards the center, participants will observe the Communist influence on the buildings and architecture. A coffee break at a local café offers a choice of over 25 different types of coffee from around the world. For a local experience, try a small espresso or Turkish coffee.
• Pallati i Kongreseve - The tour continues along Tirana’s main boulevard, “Deshmoret e Kombit,” where guests will learn about its architecture, style, and history. This area is home to the Pyramid and some of Tirana’s most famous buildings. Walking through the former communist district, Blloku, which was once the residential area of the former Communist dictator, Enver Hoxha.

Lunch will be at a traditional grill restaurant, offering the chance to taste two of Tirana’s most famous dishes, “Fergese” and “Qofte.”

• Fortress of Justinian - Strolling along the “Pedonale,” the pedestrian artistic boulevard, the tour visits the Castle of Tirana. Located in the heart of Tirana, it has served as an administrative center under various regimes. Recently renovated, it is now a fascinating attraction with unique shops and bars.

A visit to a specialized olive oil shop provides a professional introduction to the history of olive oil, olive trees, and olive oil tasting.
