• Parku Kombetar Mali i Dajtit - Hiking in Dajti National Park is a wonderful option! The views are stunning, and from the cable car, it takes about an hour to reach the summit and 45 minutes to descend.
• Shengjergji Waterfall - Located not far from the Meat Shack, the Shengjergji Waterfall is easily accessible with a simple 10-minute walk. It’s a great choice on a hot day for a refreshing dip, though it may be busy.

This day trip offers flexibility, centered around a delightful lunch at one of our cherished village eateries!

In the morning, participants can choose to visit Bunk’Art 1 (tickets approximately €5) and take the Dajti Ekspres cable car up Mt Dajti (around €8; the minivan travels by road). For those interested, there’s also the option to hike to the summit of Mt Dajti (about 1 hour up, and 45 minutes down).

After exploring Dajti, the journey continues through picturesque countryside to our lunch destination, a quaint wooden shack owned by the charming Dëfrim and Hilda. While many village restaurants near Tirana have adopted a more modern aesthetic, Dëfrim and Hilda maintain a simple ambiance, allowing their culinary creations to shine.

The house specialty is veal, sourced from Dëfrim’s own farm and prepared using the traditional saç method. For those who prefer lamb, goat, or chicken, simply provide 48 hours’ notice, and they will happily accommodate your request.
