Tivoli - Lovely tour of both gardens a must do when in Rome, our guide was great. Took us on slow walk for the older people, not to much info which was good, our bus driver was great too, easy tour and lots to see.

Highly recommend - Marzia was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable. The lunch was good but if you are unable to eat pork/ham be sure to specify that in your reservation.

The Villa de Este gardens is the show stopper. - This tour takes a full day. If it a hot day be prepared because you will be in the sun. We did this tour in late May and i came away with new bronze skin color. The temp was fine in the shade, but you felt the heat in the sun. That being said the palace grounds and ruins are worth it. Amazing history. We traveled a short distance from there to the villa. We had lunch in Tivoli before entering the grounds. Eat at one of the many restaurants. When you finally enter the Villa, you might want to run through the residence as quickly as you can to maximize your time in the gardens. There is so much to see and so little time. We stayed with the tour guide and realized too late that we wanted more time in the gardens. Get lost out there and try to see as much as you can. Lots of steps and getting out in time to meet your group will be a challenge. The waterfalls, the views, the many fountains, all amazing! Safe travels.

Great tour overall - We thought the trip was great! Both tour guides were very good and we enjoyed the experience. The reason we gave it a 4 star instead of a five is because we thought the meal at lunch was not very good. It would be nice to find a different restaurant. Not only was the food not good but it didn’t seem like they were ready for us and spent a lot of time preparing the food. Also, the bus driver was constantly texting while driving. We were unhappy about that, especially when we were on the highway.

Interesting, but hurried - This was a very interesting tour, but not enough time! Both guides were good, but the young lady at Tivoli was especially good. The Google pin on the tour ticket takes you to Castro Pretorio, not the metro station, so we were almost too late arriving!

Beautiful but wanted more time !!! - Tivoli was beautiful! The grounds were amazing. We were able to hear the organs!!! The tour guide was pretty abrupt and scolded us often if we weren’t listening. We spent too much time at the first ‘house’ we went too. I would have preferred to have more time at the fountains. I would recommend a less structured tour to all ample time to see the gardens!

Disappointing tour, bad guide & no fountains - This tour was subpar from start to finish. The meeting spot was hard to find because there was not a specific address which meant the Uber drivers were dropping people in the wrong place. When they loaded us on the bus it was very hot and stuffy because there was no air conditioning going, Our guide Lucy was very difficult to understand and did not give clear instructions. She went into too much detail with odd stories that didn't seem relevant and kept us standing around instead of allowing us to see the sites. At Hadrian's villa where there are dozens of buildings, we only saw about three of them and then left. It was so bad that people were joking about the guide at lunch. When we went to Villa de Este, we walked down and up all those stairs only to find that all the fountains/waterfalls were off. And no one had even told us that. Very disappointing. Overall, we felt that this tour was a frustrating waste of money.

Very poor tour guide - Tour guide was very poor. He had never told us his name, phone number and itinerary . If you did not ask him personally. You would know nothing. Very surprise. We had never seen this kind of tour guide in our 40 years travelling history, probably we should blame whoever gave him training or company . If you want to take tour with this guy or this company, you have to be smart enough to figure everything out by your self. Place was nice and worthy to see .
