• Matlalcueitl - Pick-up time will be around 4:45 a.m. at your accommodation in Mexico City. Your guide or driver will arrive in a private vehicle. We will travel to Puebla/Tlaxcala, approximately 2.5 hours driving to La Malinche. We will arrive at approximately 7:30 a.m. at La Malinche (8202.1 ft above sea level). We will park in the designated vehicle area, where our hike will begin. The guide will provide two each person: a pair of trekking poles, a helmet, a 1-liter bottle of water, and a protein bar per person.
  The guide will give you directions and instructions; your guide carries a first aid kit.
  The first part of the hike will be walking 5 kilometers, until the end of the forest, in an area called El Arenal at approximately 12467.19 ft above sea level. Another hike of almost 2 kilometers follows. At the highest point of the mountain there are only rocks; from here you’ll have to climb using your hands to reach the summit. Upon reaching the summit, we will be at 14,632.55 ft above sea level. We will then begin our descent taking a different side of the mountain. This path will be sandy. We will follow the path the guide takes until the parking area
