Unique, Inspiring & Humbling Experience with Mild-mannered, Kind & Joyful humans, who made me feel so very welcome. - A unique, inspiring & precious experience I will treasure forever. To have the opportunity to stay in a monastery with the most beautifully kind & joyful humans, who made me feel so very welcome, was a real dream come true. I loved talking with the volunteers, nuns and monks, especially over daily ‘chores’ in the kitchen, like chopping onions, making tofu or squeezing the juiciest oranges (with ‘green’ coloured peel!) I was so grateful for the clothing they had made, as well as the reading material I will refer to over and over again. The food was absolutely delicious, and I wanted for nothing. I slept so well despite sleeping on the floor with the volunteers who were also the loveliest people.

Take time to stay at the Pagoda you will not regret it! - This was simply put, an amazing experience! I knew virtually nothing about staying at Pagoda surrounded by Monks and Nuns, or meditation, and I loved having help being guided in! It was all very well organized from the moment I was picked up, to the moment I was dropped off. I was very thoughtfully guided through my stay. The monks and nuns are welcoming and lovely. I can not say enough how happy I was to "Go to Pagoda" It is an experience very difficult to express in a review. Just have faith and go..you will become a better person for it! I will carry what i learned and experienced with me always.

Couple 2 day experience in the pagoda - We had an amazing and truly authentic experience at the pagoda. We were the only tourists there, and we were welcomed with open arms. It was incredible to see how daily life in the monastery really works. We joined the meditation sessions, volunteered in the kitchen, and learned about mindfulness and meditation. Everyone we met was kind, genuine, and happy to share their way of life. This is a wonderful experience for anyone interested in Buddhism. We highly recommend it - it’s something we’ll definitely tell our friends and family about when we return home.

Meditation and mindfulness - A very interesting experience. Everyone was super friendly and wanting to speak with me even with their limited English. Intense meditation for someone who doesn’t meditate often- 3 times a day for 1 hour was definitely a challenge but so glad I did it! People are genuinely nice, helpful and friendly. I felt welcomed and cared for. I have to give special mention for the food… amazing, incredibly delicious vegetarian fare. Every meal was excellent! I even got to watch them cook a tofu recipe. You also get to help with the food prep by cutting vegetables. Sleeping arrangements are basic dorm style with a blanket on the floor. Overall I enjoyed it immensely and talking with the nuns and volunteers was very enjoyable. I would go back again.

Amazing experience - My experience at the Pagoda was incredible! I wanted to learn more about Buddhism and meditation, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. I was able to achieve my goal, learning so much about both with the monks who welcomed me with open arms, as if they had known me for a long time. I truly loved every second I spent there and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a similar experience.

Amazing immersive experience - I really loved this experience. Not only did I learn the basics of meditation, I was also able to talk to a monk directly who answered all my questions patiently. Hung Nguyen is also a very amazing tour guide always ready to help clarify things and make the experience memorable.
