Burana Tower - The journey to Song Kul Lake begins with an early morning departure from Bishkek. Along the way, there will be a visit to the historic Burana Tower and the open-air historical and archaeological museum.
Orto-Tokoy Water Reservoir - A picturesque stop at the beautiful Orto-Tokoy reservoir awaits. After a long drive, it’s the perfect place to stretch and enjoy the breathtaking views.
Kalmak-Ashuu - The route to Son-Kul takes us through the popular and easily accessible Kalmak-Ashuu pass, located on the northeastern side of the lake. A stop here offers fresh mountain air and stunning alpine scenery.
Song-Kul - Arrival at the lake is expected by evening. Before dinner, there’s an opportunity to stroll along the lakeshore and admire the meadows filled with edelweiss and other wildflowers. Horseback riding is available for those interested. At night, after 10 PM, the lights are turned off, allowing for a spectacular view of the starry sky and the Milky Way at an altitude of 3016 meters above sea level.
Free Time and Departure to Bishkek
Song-Kul - After enjoying breakfast at the yurt camp, there is free time to explore the beautiful surroundings of Song Kul Lake. Options include a leisurely walk around the lake, horseback riding, or an easy hike. Alternatively, simply relax and soak in the stunning natural scenery. Departure from Song Kul Lake is scheduled for 14:30, heading back to Bishkek.
