Burana Tower - Driving distance/time: 200 km, approximately 3 hours (excluding stops)
Following breakfast, the tour kicks off in Bishkek at the office, where the guide will host a welcome meeting and provide a comprehensive briefing on the day’s itinerary and route.
Set off for Kochkor village. Along the way, visit the Burana Tower, an 11th-century minaret situated at the site of the ancient Silk Road city of Balasagyn. Climb the tower for sweeping views, explore the small museum with archaeological artifacts, and discover the collection of Balbals, ancient Turkic stone grave markers.
Kok Moinok Canyon - Proceed to the Kok-Moynok Canyons for a 1–2 hour scenic walk among striking red sandstone formations and unique natural landscapes.

In the evening, savor a traditional dinner and stay overnight at a local guesthouse in Kochkor.
KOCHKOR VILLAGE – KYZART PASS – KILEMCHE SUMMER CAMP
Kilemche - Driving distance/time: 70 km / 1 hour driving
Riding distance/time: 18 km / 6 hours riding,
After breakfast at the Kochkor homestay, the guide will provide a brief overview of the horseback trek. Then, drive west on the Kochkor — Jumgal road. Arrive at the Kyzart Pass, where the guide team will greet you with horses ready for the journey. Begin the horseback tour by crossing the Kyzyl-Kiya jailoo, a vast, relatively flat expanse of grass. Continue over the Chaar-Archa Pass (3,061 m) into the Chaar-Archa Valley and enjoy a delicious lunch by the rushing river, with views of the sacred 4,400 m Baba-Ata Mountain. Afterward, ford the river and follow the trail over lush hills to Kilemche Jailoo. The name means “like a carpet,” and this stretch of grass covers entire mountain ranges, with hues as subtle as any shyrdak (a Kyrgyz felt carpet). Dine and sleep in a yurt, naturally.
KILEMCHE SUMMER CAMP – JALGYZ KARAGAI PASS – KYR JOL SUMMER CAMP
Song Kol Lake - Riding distance: 15 km / 5 hours
After breakfast at Kilemche, spend the morning ascending to Jalgyz Karagai pass (3,400 m), over the Song-Kol Mountains, and into the lake’s basin. The morning climb offers wonderful views of Kilemche jailoo, and the pass itself is rocky and thrilling. From the pass, Song-Kol is still distant, but as you descend the slopes, it becomes larger and larger; the mountains on the opposite side rise higher and higher, until finally, the lake dominates your view, and the southern mountains loom above it. Follow the lakeshore west to the yurt camp at Tuz-Ashuu summer camp for lunch. After lunch, ride for about 2 hours along the lake shore, observing many shepherds engaged in daily activities. Upon arrival, meet your host family of Kyrgyz shepherds. Meals and overnight are in a shepherd’s yurt.
