- Oshino Hakkai - Oshino Hakkai consists of eight springs created by the snowmelt from Mount Fuji filtering through the earth. Recognized by Japan’s Ministry of the Environment in 1985 as one of the nation’s top-quality springs, Oshino Hakkai is celebrated for its stunning natural beauty. The glistening waters of the ponds harmonize with the picturesque Mount Fuji, attracting photographers from all over. The traditional thatched houses, gently turning water wheels, and the magnificent scenery of Mount Fuji transport visitors to another era.
- Arakurayama Sengen Park - This park features shrines and pagodas, with the most notable being the Mount Fuji Observation Deck located halfway up the mountain. It is a popular subject for brochures and postcards in Japan and is considered one of the “21 places photographers around the world must visit before they die.” By climbing the 397 steps near the main hall, visitors can capture a photo of the “tower, Mount Fuji, and the street scene at the foot of the mountain” all at once. Photographers and tourists from around the globe visit to witness this view. The park offers beautiful sights throughout the year, including cherry blossoms in spring, lush greenery in summer, vibrant red leaves in autumn, and snow in winter. Besides enjoying the spectacular view of Mount Fuji, visitors can also admire the charming street scene in Fujiyoshida City. A parking fee of 1000¥ is required for travelers.
- Lake Yamanaka - Situated in the village of Yamanakako in Yamanashi Prefecture near Mount Fuji, Japan, Lake Yamanaka is the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes by surface area and the highest in elevation. It ranks as the third highest lake in Japan, with an average surface altitude of 980.5 meters.
- Yamanakako Hananomiyako Park - (Flower Park) This park is located on the banks of Lake Yamanakako, closest to Mt. Fuji, at an elevation of 1,000 meters above sea level. It is adorned with seasonal flowers, vibrant colors, and rich natural beauty, creating a dramatic lakeside retreat. Additionally, the park features an all-weather greenhouse in the village of clear streams, where visitors can appreciate rare tropical plants and orchids year-round.
Furthermore, the park includes a Japanese-style garden, a lava tree-type basement experience zone, a water playground with a 10m drop and 80m wide waterfall, and a space for water activities. Visitors can also explore the mystery of Mt. Fuji’s eruption. An entry ticket of ¥300 per person is required for travelers.
- Narusawa Ice Cave - Formed after the violent eruption of Mt. Nagao, which created Mt. Fuji’s northwestern flank in 864, the Narusawa Ice Cave is a vast underground cavern shaped by lava. As visitors descend the stairs and navigate through low, dark tunnels, temperatures steadily decrease.
The ice pillars here grow larger in winter, and sometimes the stalactites and stalagmites connect. The cave maintains a temperature around zero degrees Celsius year-round and was historically used for storing seeds and silkworm cocoons. An entry ticket of ¥300 per person is required for travelers.
- Oishi Park - (Optional) Oishi Park is located at Lake Kawaguchi, offering a panoramic view of the expansive lavender fields by the lake, Lake Kawaguchi, and the majestic Mount Fuji.
- Gotemba Premium Outlets - (Optional) Gotemba Premium Outlets® is the flagship center and one of the largest in Japan. It is situated on a vast site with views of the World Cultural Heritage site, Mt. Fuji.
