A truly matcha-mazing experience, bringing Japan right to your fingertips. - I never thought making a handicraft could be this enjoyable until I tried this experience. I’m not particularly creative, but this hands-on introduction to traditional Japanese handicraft was incredibly fun and surprisingly easy to enjoy. It felt authentic, relaxing, and was a great way to immerse myself in local culture. The experience was made even better with matcha and mochi wagashi at the end… both were absolutely delicious and the perfect finishing touch. I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique and memorable cultural activity during their trip.

Unique Japanese hand fan craft and moji&matcha - Japanese hand fan decoration I did all by myself for the first time in my life. They provided some samples of dried flowers and other things for decoration which we stuck together on fan.Everyone had their unique fan design. I also experienced first time making matcha and some matcha Moji sweets. Stuff is very friendly and speak fluent English very helpful if you don’t understand Japanese or just want to give your self relaxation from Japanese language and enjoy some Japanese culture 😊

Hands-On Japanese Craft with Mochi Wagashi and Matcha - It was a lot of fun. We got to design our own fans with flowers and imprinted them with an iron. Even though Matcha isn’t my most favorite drink, the Matcha making class was a lot of fun aswell.

A Wonderful Cultural & Mochi-Making Experience — Highly Recommended! - This was one of the most enjoyable hands-on cultural experiences I’ve had in Japan. The crafts class where we made traditional Japanese fans was beautifully organized. The flower designs and artistic elements were thoughtfully prepared, and the instructor gave very clear, patient guidance. Even beginners could create something elegant and meaningful to take home. But the real highlight was the matcha and mochi experience — truly the gem of the program. Everything was explained step-by-step, from preparing matcha from scratch to assembling the sweets. We made matcha drinks ourselves and created delicious desserts with buttermilk-based monaka shells, matcha custard, and beautiful toppings. Not only did everything taste amazing, but the presentation aspect made it even more special. The ingredients were high quality, the tools and setup were professional, and the staff made the entire process fun and welcoming. It felt both authentic and creative — not just a demonstration, but a real interactive experience. Excellent value for money, very well structured, and perfect for anyone interested in Japanese culture and sweets. I would 100% recommend this to visitors and residents alike.
