- Catedral Primada - The Toledo Cathedral is one of Spain’s three 13th-century High Gothic cathedrals and is regarded by some experts as the pinnacle of Gothic architecture in Spain. Construction began in 1226 under Ferdinand III, with the final Gothic elements completed in the 15th century, notably the central nave vaults in 1493 during the reign of the Catholic Monarchs. Inspired by Bourges Cathedral, its five-nave design aimed to encompass the sacred space of the former city mosque and the sahn with the cloister. It features Mudéjar style elements, particularly in the cloister, with multifoiled arches in the triforium. The impressive use of light and the structural design of the ambulatory vaults are among its notable features.
- Cathedral of Segovia - Segovia Cathedral, a Gothic-style Roman Catholic cathedral, is situated in Segovia’s main square in Castile-Leon, Spain. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, it was constructed in the mid-16th century.
- Alcazar of Segovia - The Alcázar of Segovia, a medieval fortress, is located in Segovia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Perched on a rocky crag above the confluence of two rivers near the Guadarrama mountains, it is one of Spain’s most unique castle-palaces, resembling the bow of a ship.
- Parque Nacional de la Sierra de Guadarrama - The Sierra de Guadarrama is a mountain range forming the main eastern section of the Sistema Central, the mountain range system along the center of the Iberian Peninsula. It lies between the Sierra de Gredos in Ávila and the Sierra de Ayllón in Guadalajara.
- Synagogue of Saint Mary the White - Built in 1180, this Mudéjar structure features five naves separated by pillars supporting horseshoe arches. Converted into a church in the 15th century, it now serves as a monument open to visitors. It boasts a coffered wooden ceiling, Plateresque altars, and an altarpiece from the Berruguete school.
- Iglesia de Santo Tome - This parish church likely originated after Alfonso VI’s Christian Reconquista of the city in 1085, with the earliest record from 1142. From the original Mudejar building, it retains a large multifoil arch over the main arch separating the main nave from the presbytery, along with sturdy buttresses and a small trefoil arch on a Mudejar-style brick frieze in the upper part of the former semicircular sanctuary of the original single-nave church.
- Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes - Founded by King Ferdinand II of Aragon and Queen Isabella I of Castile, this monastery commemorates the birth of their son, Prince John, and their victory at the Battle of Toro (1476) against Afonso V of Portugal’s army.
Toledo was selected for the monastery due to its central location and historical significance as the capital of the ancient Visigoth kingdom, symbolically restored by Isabella and Ferdinand through the union of Castile and Aragon, reuniting Spain.
