Great way to explore Niagara on the Lake in just one dy - We were looking for a day trip from Toronto to Niagara on the Lake and book this excursion. Since we were not staying at a pick up hotel location, when booking we asked for a recommended spot and the confirmation included the best place and a link to it. Our driver and guide was Marion who did a great job with both tasks. She was very informative and I really liked how she researched many of the facts on or tour. She also was very caring, ensuring everyone was fine at every stop. The chocolate tour was good and so was the maple syrup tasting as it gave us something to do while we made a restroom stop. The drive around the neighborhood near the falls was great with a few stops for views and many recommendations for things to do in future visits. The stop at the main street on Niagara on the Lake was just enough time for lunch and to browse in a few stores (I would have liked a little more time so we could walk toward the lake in the lovely neighborhood). The Jackson Triggs winery tour and tasting was well done. Some nice wines to taste and enough time to buy some if we desired. Great staff and enjoyable winery guide. We all had a great time.

Enjoyable Tour - I recommend this tour. Our driver/tour guide was Marian. She was an excellent driver, knowledgeable and accommodating. She took us to scenic spots that I’m not sure we would have seen on another tour and she made sure her guests had an opportunity to see what was important to them. It was also very nice that the tour group was small. It made for a more personable and enjoyable experience.

A great day in the Niagra region - We had an amazing time and Marian was a wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide. She put in every effort to give us the best experience possible from giving us insights and sharing the history of the area to giving us tips and information about every stop to regularly checking if any of us wanted a cold water bottle as it was a hot day. Every stop of the tour had been thought out carefully. The chocolate and maple tasting was good fun. Then we had the chance to visit the smallest chapel in Canada, which was lovely. Niagara-on-the-Lake was absolutely beautiful and we were able to take our time to explore and enjoy the town. Finally, we had a great wine tasting experience at Jackson-Triggs. Glenna, who showed us around the winery, was an absolute delight and really knew her stuff. We would 100 percent recommend the tour.

A great way to see the countryside in the Niagara area - This was a last-minute choice for us, as we decided that we would like to get out of Toronto for a day and see some of the surrounding countryside. Marian was an excellent guide--very friendly and helpful. She learned everyone's name. She was very patient with the inevitable couple who could not tell time or follow directions, and she managed to keep us on schedule pretty much throughout. The tour has a number of interesting different spots, which gives you a view into a variety of activities in the Niagara valley. The wine tour was particularly excellent. We very much enjoyed our lunch in Niagara-on-the-Lake. This was a very nice day out and we can highly recommend it.

Fun day trip - It is a long day but the itinerary breaks it up so that you don’t feel stuck in the bus all day. Our driver and guide, Marion, was great with both tasks. She provided historical and current information during our trip. It eas nice seeing the surrounding area and it made me want to visit again. There was just enough time in the main town area to have lunch and shop a little. I would have liked a little longer time The winery tour and tasting was enjoyable but we could have spent a little less time there. The winery guide was great snd we had enough time at each sampling stop. The tour company reached out to confirm my reservation has somehow I had 2. Excellent customer service. I recommend the tour and company

Niagara-on-the-Lake Deserves Better Context - The main appeal of Niagara-on-the-Lake lies in its history. The old town is protected by a municipal bylaw that prohibits any alterations to the houses considered part of its architectural heritage. The bylaw also bans fast-food chains such as McDonald’s or Tim Hortons. Highlights include the golf club on Front Street, the very first built in the country, the apothecary museum, and the many prominent figures who left their mark on the town. Unfortunately, none of this information was shared with us. If you don’t want to miss it, you’ll need to do your own research beforehand.
