Excellent visit - Really enjoyed our visit to the museum. There was lots to see even with a few exhibits closed. Wasn't as busy as I expected which was great. We will definitely be back at some point!

Great stop in Toronto - Easy to get to and navigate. Start at the third floor and work your way down. We spent about two hours there but you could definitely spend more.

A Must-Visit Museum in Toronto - I had a wonderful experience visiting the Royal Ontario Museum. It’s such an impressive and beautiful place with so much to see and explore. Every exhibit feels interesting and well presented, and there’s a great mix of history, culture, and nature all in one museum. I loved how you can learn something new in every section — from ancient history to fascinating natural science displays. It’s engaging for both adults and kids, so it’s perfect whether you’re visiting with family or on your own. The atmosphere is inspiring, and you could easily spend hours there without getting bored. Definitely one of the must-visit places in Toronto!

Respectable ROM - Some impressive exhibits to see(dinosaurs). Some fairly standard museum fare(animals in dusty glass display boxes)and unfortunately the wildlife photography exhibit is an extra fee. Seems strange that you don't get to see everything when you buy a ticket. And also a couple of nice surprises which I won't spoil telling you about.Booked my ticket online and it cost $26. Was there for a couple of hours.I would say it was fairly quiet when I was there as it was midweek. The staff were courteous and friendly when we spoke to them.Good for all types of groups/singles.

Over crowded. Not a great selection of merch (sharks) - We went for the shark exhibit and the information was great BUT it was so extremely crowded. We waited patiently to see the displays and then some guided tour just butted right in front of us blocking our path. If they are going to stand there and talk they should be talking and standing behind the people who are already there to look at the displays. Self guided and guided tours should not be allowed in the special exhibits. And I get there is only 2 weeks left but the selection in the gift shop and main gift shop was pathetic. If you’re going to run an exhibit you should have merch no matter when someone chooses to go. My friend was looking for a L adult t-shirt and couldn’t get one. The coat check should have a line for pick ups. I was told to go in the regular line because I wasn’t a member and then the lady behind me said she wasn’t a member but was told to go through the never line anyways?!? I waited 20 minutes to pick up our coats. Lady behind me breezed through in about 2.
