Only 15mins (on weekends and Holidays give yourself extra time) from San Juan by Uber near the airport. Check in time 30mins prior to tour time. Meeting point is about a 5 minute walk to our Kitchen, so If mobility is a concern, please contact us in advance so we can accommodate you.

PR trip cooking class - If you're looking for something to do in puerto rico, I recommend this class. I was the only person booked for the class. Chef Mauro was hospitable, informative and entertaining.

GREAT FOOD! GREAT EXPERIENCE! - This was a great class! It was only our group with the instructor, so we felt comfortable asking whatever questions we had and he spent the entire class interacting with us. I would recommend this to anyone travelling to San Juan!

Puerto Rican Food Experience - I thought the cooking class was excellent and the perfect amount of time. My wife loves cooking and we got to experience it first hand and in a Puerto Rican house which was really cool. We got to understand their culture, the way they live, their history, and all while cooking. Our instructor was awesome too! Very knowledgeable and a great human overall.

Best taste of Puerto Rican flavors and culture - I loved the experience so much the first time, I had to go back! I went with friends last year, and went again with family this year after they heard me rave about it and tried my sofrito! Such a unique way to learn about Puerto Rican cooking and culture. Chef Mauro is a great teacher, and I love that the class is in the cute beach neighborhood of Pinones, just a few minutes by Uber from San Juan.

Enjoyable Introduction - Good introduction to Puerto Rican cooking. Our chef was very knowledgeable and helpful. He provided a link to recipes for all the food we prepared. Highlight was the Pina Coladas. Traffic in and out of the venu's location was a bit challenging but not unusual for San Juan.

Very Highly Recommended - An excellent experience with Mauro giving us insights into Puerto Rican history and food culture and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Everyone in our group of 8 had a blast and loved exploring an area of the beaten trail.

Experiential dining - Claudia led us through four discrete Puerto Rican dining experiences. She was friendly, smart and made the tour perfect. The way the tour was organised moves up and down the alleys of Old San Juan and provided a private (as a group) tasting experience in four venues. Please don’t eat before you go because this tour will fill you up. Claudia was great. She communicated with us early before the tour and answered all our questions. Remembered our names too which was special.
