Boat and hike excursion -August 2025 - We did the excursion on boat and hike in the park with Angelo. He took the time to show the animals and forest and gave us all explanation with it.

Great trip - The canoe bost tour was amazing. Angelo was a great guide and we saw monkeys, Carmen and do many birds. Would recommend doing this trip if you are in Tortuguero.

Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant - We took a canoe trip, guided day and night walks with Angelo and and they were the highlight of our 2 week trip to Costa Rica. His love for the land, the wildlife and Tortuguero is clear to see. The tours are quiet, nature- immersed experiences with clear emphasis on spotting wildlife but with time to just be still and watch the animals. We took other tours in Costa Rica and this was the clear difference between Angelo and everyone else. His ability to spot everything was unreal!! His knowledge was outstanding and his love for what he does shone through each time we took a tour with him. Five stars is not enough. Simply brilliant. Thank you Angelo for instilling a love of Costa Rica in us. We will be back!!

Great tour - We can definitely recommend the canal tour! Our guide provided us with a lot of information and above all he showed us a lot of animals that we would not have discovered.

The best guides and hosts! - Angelo was an excellent guide and even better host! This tour was incredible and he is extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the nature we observed. Him and his wife also have an Airbnb that is beautiful and right near the beach I would encourage anyone visiting to stay in.

Great tours me experienced guide! - We stayed at the Hotel Casa Thirema in Tortuguero. The very friendly receptionist Carmen organized the day tour (canoe tour in the morning as well as day and night walk). Our guide was Angelo, who informed us with great expertise about the flora and fauna. He's incredibly good at finding the animals. He grew up in Tortuguero and knows every spot there. We were lucky to have such an experienced guide. Thank you for this great day!

Great nature trips in tortuguero with Angelo - We‘ve made in total 3 trips and each of them has been amazing (Canoe tour through the canals of the tortuguero national park, day walk through the national park, and a motorized boat tour for animal watching on the canals along the river towards the sea. Angelo is very kind, fun, an amazing animal spotter and has a huge knowledge on the animals, the nature and tortuguero. He was also well prepared for the weather as we got hit by rain, but he provided us with ponchos just in time :)

Loved it ! Do not hesitate ! - We loved the tour with Angelo ! We leaned so much and he was able to explain everything , he is also very funny! We also did a night tour with him the same day and ended up finding new animals ! If you are looking for a tour choose him it is an amazing experience !

A magical experience in Tortuguero National Park - It was an unforgettable boat tour in Tortuguero National Park. Carmen organized this excursion for us, our guide Angelo picked us up at the hotel at 6.00 am and then explained us very expertly and very informatively everything worth knowing. With his trained eyes he could spot many birds and animals, which we could then admire extensively. The atmosphere in the early morning on the river in the middle of the rainforest almost silently gliding with the Bboot, accompanied by the cries of the howler monkeys and the singing of the birds, was just magical! Thank you for the unique experience!
