Must do - We spent 15 days in Costa Rica. We started with tortugureo. To do absolutely!!! I had booked the canoe tour and the night tour in private with hugo. This is the best excursion of our stay we saw an incredible number of animals. Hugo is a great quality guide. The boat ride without a motor is great. Our best memory. Hugo speaks particularly good French without accents it is hard to believe that he is Costa Rican! We were in a hotel but it also offers accommodation.

Very good night walk - We strongly recommend choosing Hugo as your guide for your night walk. We have seen many different animals in the surroundings of Tortuguero. Frogs, sloths, porcupine, iguanas, toucan, little snake, spider... He is a quiet person, passionate about the nature of Costa Rica. The tour was peaceful and rewarding. We highly recommend Hugo to all Francophones wishing to discover the local wildlife!

Fantastic - We took the night tour with turtle laying and we were not disappointed. It was amazing. Hugo is a great guide who made us discover the nightlife and he has the eye to find them, even well camouflaged. In short we are delighted with this tour and warmly recommend it. Thanks again Hugo! Hugo the indispensable guide to Tortuguero - Hugo knows the place very well and shows you a whole area where the animals are sometimes difficult to see without his help. He does not hesitate to share a few anecdotes. The visits are very pleasant. I confirm without a guide you will not see half of the animals in the area. The next day we also did the canoe tour.

We saw sloths, toucans, spiders, snakes. Visit to do - Really nice thing to do, we saw lots of animals! Don't hesitate because Hugo is very nice. A visit in French is always more pleasant

Great experience! - Thanks to Hugo we were able to discover the fauna and flora at night. We have seen several animals and insects. Hugo is an excellent guide and spots every animal nearby. I can only recommend it. A great experience.

Extra - Canoeing in the morning then night walk in the evening with Hugo. We discovered lots of animals thanks to the lynx eye of our guide who managed to spot any animal. I highly recommend Hugo for these activities.

A lynx's eye - We booked the night walk to see the turtles laying eggs. We walked a total of 7km. Hugo showed us all along the way frog frog basil snakes. He has an eye for quickly spotting all these little beasts. Then the laying of the turtle is a magical moment that sometimes has to wait a long time. You can't get a close look at her until the laying starts. The eggs are clearly seen descending into the well and then the turtle covers the eggs. Minutes of explanations about turtle life. Superb we highly recommend this unique moment to live. All these explanations in French guarantee to understand everything in detail.

Great! - Thanks to Hugo for showing us the Tortuguero forest day and night, on foot and by boat. We learned a lot from the many encounters we made (Caymans, Toucans, frog, monkeys, sloths and much more) We recommend it to all Francophones without hesitation! Very fast walking and the... - Very fast walking and the guide barely spoke 10 full sentences. Did not say more about the animals and plants than their names. Positive thing was that there were only 4 people in the group but with almost no engagement from the guide, this did not matter much.
